Why are people saying Luffy loses. I would be more worried about Ichigo losing. Current Ichigo would get stomped by Saskue. Ichigo at his strongest wins with Mugetsu, but loses his powers. Be more specific when you say Ichigo.

Pay attention to 1:15 and after. Luffy can dodge every one of those attacks. He isn't even using Gear 2nd. The scans Miles posted he wasn't either. We have yet to see just how strong Luffy has become after the time skip.
A couple people mentioned Amaterasu and Sasuke shielding himself with Susanoo. Luffy WILL know not to touch it. Sasuke can't keep that defense up forever either while Luffy can dodge all day even though that would be his best way to win.
Against a rubber man? Although, it would be interesting to see what would a lightning blade do to Luffy. It is almost like an oxymoron. The 3rd Raikage was able to cut the rubber balls from that 1 fodder ninja, forget his name. I wonder if it would work the same with Luffy. I would imagine Luffy is not "normal" rubber since most logic doesn't seem to work with him. Lightning would melt normal rubber. It did nothing to Luffy when fighting Enel. Of course CoO prevents Luffy taking damage if he sees himself getting hurt. Luffy saw his arms would have gotten cut off against Mihawk, the same could be said with Chidori.
Karin is just like a "normal" lightning attack, similar to El Thor and other variants of Enel's attacks. Same thing I would imagine would happen with Luffy. He would just nullify the attack. Not to mention Karin needs the prep to be used.
I wonder if Ichigo stuck his sword up in the air, it would act as a conductor. hmm.

Kirin is powered by chakra, though. It's not like normal lightning. Plus, Kirin prep time isn't much of a problem since Sasuke's chidori stream and Susano'o are good defense. And CoO can't save Luffy from an attack he couldn't avoid, since Kirin is pretty much in the speed of a flash with a large range. Plus, there's always the good old genjutsu to keep Luffy occupied, and as I stated before Conqueror's Haki is useless against the strong willed.

I wouldn't think it being chakra would change much, for the most part it's regular lightning, just that chakra is used to control its path and enhances its power a tad. Honestly though, Enel's lightning was a lot more impressive and Luffy from hundreds of chapters back had no problem with it. Chidori Stream wouldn't protect Sasuke much from someone as strong as Luffy and even Susano'o has no chance against, say, Elephant Gatling.
Problem with Sasuke setting up Kirin in the first place is that Luffy is a fast-paced, close combat fighter. Sasuke would be way too pressured to prepare everything properly to even use it in the first place, plus its effectiveness against Luffy is debatable. More than that though I think it's important to note that Sasuke probably wouldn't resort to that quickly enough to make a difference, in-character Sasuke stands no chance against in-character Luffy cause the power gap is already a lot bigger and Luffy's much more threatening even without pulling out his best attacks. Even if Sasuke starts with his best, Luffy still packs more power, insane speed, and a lot more durability than anything Sasuke can dish out.
As for genjutsu, I can't say for sure if it would even work on Luffy because he has no chakra system. Supposing that genjutsu is assumed to work on him, Luffy's still way too fast for Sasuke to properly manage a genjutsu on. Even if one does get him, none of Sasuke's are gonna do much considering superior genjutsu to Sasuke's has failed to kill weaker fighters on a regular basis. I would also think that CoO would be capable of warning Luffy to avoid eye contact with Sasuke to avoid genjutsu, but that's debatable since nothing like genjutsu really exists in the OPverse.
