Some people say she has a slug sage mode... but no.

• Sages are supposed to excel in sensory, yet a 19 year old Kabuto in base mode has better senses than her.
• She admitted that a 19 year old Kabuto is stronger than when she was at her strongest.

Because there were hints that she has SM since Jiraiya has one and Orochimaru uses CM as a substitute for SM.

Usually a human's prime is between his/her 25- 35. It's impossible to be at your best when you are 50.

Tsunade finished Byakugou before 50 because Orochimaru said he was familiar with it from the old days. THAT'S HER PRIME.

Kabuto lost to Naruto because of plot armor. Really strong plot armor. Oh yeah and he wasn't a sage back then because he didn't have Jugo's DNA.
