personally I think Kishi just didn't know what Naruto's dad name was gonna be and so he called him arashi before later changing it to minato but maybe that's just me

They were said to be distant relatives of the Senjus, not descendants. They are cousins.

Maybe... i kinda doubt it though. Kishi is smart but trust me you cant overthink it either. I've done that before and unfortunately he takes the simpler routes. He rarely goes too far fetched. I doubt we will even learn the sages name.
