[Discussion] Aokiji is going to join Dragon

As we can already predict Dragon has people in the marines , and around the world. And when he calls for the revolution of course they will come. However, I believe Aokiji is going to join up with the revolutionaries, if he already isn't part of them.


Notice how Smoker stops his attack on luffy, when Dragon CASUALLY puts his hand on Smoker.

Their conversation doesn't even look like they are enemies. So , my first response is that Smoker is part of the Revolutionaries. And seems like Smoker knows him. o-o.


Next is the "message" Smoker gave to Aokiji:

Now notice he mentions the "message" when he is telling Luffy why he let him go. He already knows about Albasta, so what else is there to tell Aokiji about? oh idk Dragon saving luffy.

But then he says no his message was too stupid. He probably thinks that he wouldn't save him or something, as we know he didn't know luffy is Dragon's son.

Him being against the W.G:
Its pretty visible that he was against the world government, when he decided to quit being a Admiral, just because he lost to Akainu. Which strengthened Dragon's ideals, of the injustice and the cruelty of the W.G.

Conclusion:

So all this leads me to believe, that Aokiji is going to join the revolution against the W.G along with Garp,and Smoker. I do not believe he will join the Strawhats and become a pirate. Because its just not his style, plus he would simple overpower luffy if he were to join right now.

Smoker will stay with the navy until he figured out how corrupt it is then he's gonna prob leave with the sword girl and start his own shit

Smoker already knows how corrupt the marines are mate. Hes trying to serve for his own justice. He doesn't follow the normal marines.

Dragon and Law don't go together. He is a pirate , who is sneaky and etc. The person who Dragon would benefit the most from out of the rookies is Drake.

Hmmm I believe is very likely that we will see something like that.
Aokiji seems to search for true justice and he seems to be rather disappointed by the government and it's acts.Not to mention that he seemed to have a connection with Robin and after a while Robin joined the revolutionary army for 2 years.I think Oda is foreshadowing some events that will have a great connection with Dragon.

i was thinking the same thing about those 3, aokiji and smoker obviously dont agree with many of the things the marines did, let alone the wg

Garp however Im a lot less sure than the other 2 but I was thinking that if he had a good long talk with his son he could be pursuaded, he knows all the crap the wg does and hes obviously a good guy but hes been serving the navy as its legend for decades so obviously he didnt do anything, but now hes left and I think that after such a successful career as he had there would be no better way to end it than to be part of the great reforms that will take place in the navy after its all done, so that in the end Garp will make the navy as a real tool that upholds justice

I could easily see Aokiji as a revolutionary, but part of me is unsure. I think he may just be a rogue.

Either way he will deffinatly be fighting with Luffy's side in the grand final battle.

Also, both ways could have interesting developments in his relationship with Robin. As we saw at the end of Embody Lobby he spoke to her on Water 7, and he almost seemed apologetic about it....so if he is a Revolutionary, he and Robin may have worked or spoken together. Alternatively, if he's a rogue, I would find it interesting to see how the two would react in the same place.

Film Z almost gave them some sort of almost family like bond or some sense of a connection IDK X)!!!!

ANYWAYS....it would be cool (no pun intended) if he was a revolutionary.

Smoker, however, will never be a Revolutionary. He is a marine for justice, and he will simply push out corruption if it finds itself in the system (EX: Vergo)!

I'm not so sure Smoker seems to hold a similar type of justice a lot of the marines have and cares for his soldiers (The G5) plus it would totally ruin the whole

Smoker = Garp

But Aokiji yeah I could certainly see him joining Dragon as when the revolutionary army is introduced fully it's going to need some major strength to compete with the World Government since the only 2 people in the revolutionary army that we know are strong are Ivankov and Dragon.

1st evidence you've provided

Smoker always talks like that. And the reason why he retreated his hand from luffy's head is because he knows Dragon is bloody strong and that he needs to be ready to battle him, if it came to that which would require both his hands

2nd evidence you've provided

Aokiji didn't say Smoker's message because it would've been something like "I'm gonna kill u mugiwara!" . Which contradicts aokiji letting luffy go because of taking out crocodile.

In conclusion i do however believe, Aokiji is gonna join the Revolutionary Army but not for the reasons you've stated but for the reasons :

- that he dislikes the WG's ideals/ways of handling things. I.e - He had to take out a fellow friend ( Jageur D Saul ) for justice which he might hold a grudge for .

- also because he has left the marines because he wants to help the world in a better way. If he wants to do he cannot do it alone, he'll need allies like the revolutionary army.

think he'll be a Private Investigator. But I fully agree with your theory ,it's VERY possible Kuzan joined Dragon. He may even be one of the top generals right now in the revolution.

Not like Robin would tell the crew if he did.... notice she wasn't even there when Jinbe told the crew about Aokiji leaving the marines.
