Minato has to come closer to Sasori to do so. And that would be impossible if Sasori took his Ftg kunai or if he is in the air. As for the frogs, if anything Iron Sand Unleash can take care of them.

OT: I agree Sasori beats Minato high difficulty but Itachi beats Sasori mid-high difficulty.
Sasori's main trump card is the fact that he can make Minato's FTG kunai nigh useless because he can use magnetic properties of iron sand to pull them away. Also, Minato won't know which puppet contains Sasori's heart so he has no way of knowing which one to attack. Also, Minato lacks wide area of effect attacks that can destroy multiple puppets at once so he won't be able to deal with Sasori's puppet army. Furthermore, Sasori's iron sand defence should tank any attacks Minato can use.. at least until we see more from him anyway. Sasori should also be able to outlast Minato since being a human puppet means he won't get tired.
Minato could still put up a good fight since it will be extremely difficult for Sasori to land a hit on him because Minato can teleport wherever he places an FTG tag, such as the ground. His army of boss toads could also help him destroy quite a few puppets but their attacks can be tanked by iron sand. Moreover, those giant boss summons are prone to getting poisoned and killed by iron sand and poison gas because of their size.
Itachi beats Sasori because he can spawn black flames wherever he looks. Unless Sasori can blind Itachi or escape from his eyesight, amaterasu will definitely burn his puppets. Afterwards, those flames will spread and envelop more and more of Sasori's puppets which will drastically reduce Sasori's arsenal ensuring his fire power steadily weakens as the fight prolongs. Itachi's sharingan allows him to see chakra emanating from Sasori's heart so Itachi will know that fighting all the puppets is a waste of time and go straight for the kill. With bunshin feints, stealth tactics and nigh instantaneous attacks, Itachi should be able to catch Sasori off guard and destroy the heart.
Sasori has decent changes though since Itachi's stamina isn't the greatest so forcing him to camp inside susanoo would screw Itachi over. Sasori can do this by surrounding Itachi with iron sand which would force Itachi to erect susanoo. Itachi will probably just slash away with his sword though but if Sasori can somehow lock susanoo's movements, it is checkmate for Itachi. If poison gas can seep through susanoo, Sasori may very well have another way of defeating Itachi.

Ok now for Itachi. Like I said, Sasori's defense against Amaterasu would be his Iron Sand. He can either shed it like Gaara did against Sasuke or envelope himself into a full Iron Sand Prison, and since Sasori doesn't need to breathe lack of oxygen won't be a problem to him. There's also one more way for Sasori to avoid it. Since his Irond Sand can break the sound wall, I'm assuming that with that speed in the air Sasori could avoid it.

Gaara would put up a bigger fight than kazekage. Also, what nation did sasori conquer? Sand nation? I'm curious because uchiha were the second strongest clan in history. The good old shit chakra adage. Itachi's chakra isn't as bad as you want to believe. He was able to use 2 long length amaterasu; 1 tsukuyomi; 1 full scale susano'o for a long period, then a level 1 susano'o for a long period. Ontop of this, he was able to put out an amaterasu. These are all the MS techniques he was able to use within that drawn out fight. Even wearing out sasuke. Then, there's the non MS moves he used such as crow clones, fire ball, and implanting the last of his reserves into sasuke. Sasori won't last long enough to last all of this. Amaterasu alone would have sasori on the defence as an amaterasu to human sasori would end him. He doesn't have the speed feats, nor will he be able to give the kazekage puppet the command to do this during the instantaneous time of amaterasu. The fact is, sasori probably doesn't know about half of itachi's MS jutsu and itachi won't need to use MS throughout this entire fight.
You overestimate sasori's capabilities to the max. A simple exploding clone feint is enough to destroy kazekage puppet.

Amaterasu. These are all viable means to eventually destroy kazekage puppet as it has no auto defence, and sasori has to manually defend it.
Sasori has so many disadvantages in this fight:
-He can't get past susano'o.
-He can't block amaterasu.
-Itachi is able to read his finger movements to predict how he uses his puppets(like saskura did but it would be more effective with a sharingan).
-Itachi is able to read and predict movement down to the smallest detail to aid in dodging. Itachi is far faster than sasori (5 in databook), and is able to use shadow/crow clones.
-Itachi easily use clone feints on sasori to escape. Itachi doesn't need to hold up susano'o for long as he is skilled enough to dodge all of sasori's attacks.
-Any attack (such as the net) are easily countered by susano'o. These attacks are not faster than lightning which itachi was able to block in a millisecond.
Without kazekage puppet sasori loses. Fireball jutsu, his sharingan precognition and his extremely good skill with shuriken is enough to parry all of sasori's attacks from hiruko and the 99 puppets. Sakura was able to dodge him, and sakura is tiers slower than itachi. The fact that there are a large number of those puppets fool you to the fact that they're still fodder.
At the end of the day, itachi isn't running out of susano'o anytime soon. And contrary to what you want to believe, he doesn't need to sit in susano'o all day long. He only needs susano'o for split second defence for a few seconds at a time - this won't wear him down to the point of death. All of sasori's attacks are easily parried by itachi. Itachi is his worst nightmare.
Poison - He never gets in a scratch to poison itachi - Sharingan pregonition, Clone substitutions (which sasori won't even realise are clones), ninja tool and finally susano'o all defend against poison tipped weapons. He can't poison what he can't hit. And, in the rare case he does hit, it could potentially be a shadow clone to lure him into death. Iron sand - These attacks can be simply dodged. But, the large scale attacks, such as the net, are easily countered by susano'o. Everything else is simply dodged or defeated with a Clone sub. 99 puppets - Sharingan precognition and reading sasori's finger movement all allow itachi to dodge these. Exploding shadow clones, grand fireball jutsu and any other destructive attacks destroy them. Itachi can, also, simply cut their chakra strings with shuriken to render them useless for a while and if all else fails, totsuka blows them away in a flash. Flamethrower - Grand fireball would defend this attack, if not. Susano'o blocks it, but most importantly, amaterasu is able to destroy it and form an attack against sasori. Any of the puppet weapons/human sasori weapons - they're simply dodged with sharingan precogniton or destroyed at the joint (where it connects to the puppet) by ninja tools/other methods.
Amaterasu - Sasori can't defend against it. Kazekage has no auto defence, nor is sasori able to outrun this attack. Sasuke is a very fast ninja in CS-v2 and even he was eventually hit by a sick-blind itachi. Sasori isn't going to have enough time to pass the command( through moving his fingers) to the puppet, then move the iron sand into a defence position, then make it form a defence before amaterasu hits. Infact, iron sand has never been shown to work like gaara's sand and is usually used in a way as to form large or small objects to attack the opponent with.
Susano'o - Sasori has no way of getting through this, nor will itachi walk onto obviously visible iron sand. Even if sasori uses poison smog, itachi can either drop his susano'o and run out(simply leaving a shadow clone behind as a trap), or tier down his susano'o and jump out so he's able to form a counter attack.
Sharingan - Sasori has no way of blinding the sharingan to stop it's most basic use of predicting moves. This alone wins the fight for itachi as he's able to read sasori's fingers to already predict how the puppets will move, then further read the puppets to fully deduce their intended move.
Yasaka magatama - This alone destroys his 99 puppet army, his human body, or hiruko. Kazekage puppet is potentially the only thing that could even form a defence, if sasori is even able to manipulate it to manipulate iron sand fast enough
Totsuka - Totsuka works as both a normal sword and a sealing sword. A slash from totsuka is able to destroy alot - such as arms of puppets, weapons, or puppets on the whole. During his 99 puppet dance, sasori is usually stationary and is very open to a totsuka seal.
Itachi is a very intelligent ninja and has been shown to deduce a counter to any situation. He's been shown to defend against all of kakashi's attacks. He's been shown to defend against sasuke's arsenal. He's been shown to defend against nagato's, bee's and naruto's. He is the one who's said that every jutsu has a weakness, and he is the one with the superior skills of deduction (which the sharingan futher enhances).
Sasori would never cross itachi's path unless he had a death wish. Not even Obito wanted to risk his life with such a foolish endeavor.

he is not going to use susanoo all the time, and he will not be able to dodge all sasori's attacks like sakura did. because first sakura was being controlled like a puppet by a puppet master and second as I have mentioned, itachi's reflexes are not that good as shown in the manga.
1.Wrong. Enton is Amaterasu being manipulated into another form. They have different properties and are better at different things. Amaterasu has already shown to be faster so there is no debating this point.
2.Wrong again. Amaterasu spawns where the user is looking. Enton travels to the target Enton is slower. When Sasori is as fast as A or is a sensor then we can talk about him reacting to Amaterasu.
3. If you really think someone of Itachi's intelligence would underestimate Sasori like that then you have been reading the wrong manga. Not to mention Susanoo can be activated in less then a second. He isn't taking anyone by surprise.

. They consistently moved at high speed with a susano'o. Even sasuke was moving at high speed with rib cage susano'o. Rig cage susano'o alone is able to withstand heavy attacks. Sasori's attacks aren't getting through this. Especially not with the aid of sharingan precognition which will allow itachi to dodge attack while running out of the poison. Sasori wasn't even able to hurt sakura with that gas.
Stop using a sickly itachi in your arguement. Even zetsu said the guy should have been able to dodge these attacks. It's pathetic if you have to match sasori with a sick itachi to give him a chance of winning. How about you use scans of itachi where sickness wasn't beating him down.

Edo's are not capable of doing more than what they would when they were alive. Itachi isn't stronger in these scans, he is just not sick. I can even go far back to pre shipuuden where he out sped a sharingan. You're telling me sasori is fast enough to see and react to something a sharingan barely could? but i'll let kurenai and kakashi speak for me.

The good old shit chakra adage. Itachi's chakra isn't as bad as you want to believe. He was able to use 2 long length amaterasu; 1 tsukuyomi; 1 full scale susano'o for a long period, then a level 1 susano'o for a long period. Ontop of this, he was able to put out an amaterasu. These are all the MS techniques he was able to use within that drawn out fight. Even wearing out sasuke. Then, there's the non MS moves he used such as crow clones, fire ball, and implanting the last of his reserves into sasuke. Sasori won't last long enough to last all of this. Amaterasu alone would have sasori on the defence as an amaterasu to human sasori would end him. He doesn't have the speed feats, nor will he be able to give the kazekage puppet the command to do this during the instantaneous time of amaterasu. The fact is, sasori probably doesn't know about half of itachi's MS jutsu and itachi won't need to use MS throughout this entire fight.
You overestimate sasori's capabilities to the max. A simple exploding clone feint is enough to destroy kazekage puppet.

Amaterasu. These are all viable means to eventually destroy kazekage puppet as it has no auto defence, and sasori has to manually defend it.
Sasori has so many disadvantages in this fight:
-He can't get past susano'o.
-He can't block amaterasu.
-Itachi is able to read his finger movements to predict how he uses his puppets(like saskura did but it would be more effective with a sharingan).
-Itachi is able to read and predict movement down to the smallest detail to aid in dodging. Itachi is far faster than sasori (5 in databook), and is able to use shadow/crow clones.
-Itachi easily use clone feints on sasori to escape. Itachi doesn't need to hold up susano'o for long as he is skilled enough to dodge all of sasori's attacks.
-Any attack (such as the net) are easily countered by susano'o. These attacks are not faster than lightning which itachi was able to block in a millisecond.
Without kazekage puppet sasori loses. Fireball jutsu, his sharingan precognition and his extremely good skill with shuriken is enough to parry all of sasori's attacks from hiruko and the 99 puppets. Sakura was able to dodge him, and sakura is tiers slower than itachi. The fact that there are a large number of those puppets fool you to the fact that they're still fodder.
At the end of the day, itachi isn't running out of susano'o anytime soon. And contrary to what you want to believe, he doesn't need to sit in susano'o all day long. He only needs susano'o for split second defence for a few seconds at a time - this won't wear him down to the point of death. All of sasori's attacks are easily parried by itachi. Itachi is his worst nightmare.
Poison - He never gets in a scratch to poison itachi - Sharingan pregonition, Clone substitutions (which sasori won't even realise are clones), ninja tool and finally susano'o all defend against poison tipped weapons. He can't poison what he can't hit. And, in the rare case he does hit, it could potentially be a shadow clone to lure him into death. Iron sand - These attacks can be simply dodged. But, the large scale attacks, such as the net, are easily countered by susano'o. Everything else is simply dodged or defeated with a Clone sub. 99 puppets - Sharingan precognition and reading sasori's finger movement all allow itachi to dodge these. Exploding shadow clones, grand fireball jutsu and any other destructive attacks destroy them. Itachi can, also, simply cut their chakra strings with shuriken to render them useless for a while and if all else fails, totsuka blows them away in a flash. Flamethrower - Grand fireball would defend this attack, if not. Susano'o blocks it, but most importantly, amaterasu is able to destroy it and form an attack against sasori. Any of the puppet weapons/human sasori weapons - they're simply dodged with sharingan precogniton or destroyed at the joint (where it connects to the puppet) by ninja tools/other methods.
Amaterasu - Sasori can't defend against it. Kazekage has no auto defence, nor is sasori able to outrun this attack. Sasuke is a very fast ninja in CS-v2 and even he was eventually hit by a sick-blind itachi. Sasori isn't going to have enough time to pass the command( through moving his fingers) to the puppet, then move the iron sand into a defence position, then make it form a defence before amaterasu hits. Infact, iron sand has never been shown to work like gaara's sand and is usually used in a way as to form large or small objects to attack the opponent with.
Susano'o - Sasori has no way of getting through this, nor will itachi walk onto obviously visible iron sand. Even if sasori uses poison smog, itachi can either drop his susano'o and run out(simply leaving a shadow clone behind as a trap), or tier down his susano'o and jump out so he's able to form a counter attack.
Sharingan - Sasori has no way of blinding the sharingan to stop it's most basic use of predicting moves. This alone wins the fight for itachi as he's able to read sasori's fingers to already predict how the puppets will move, then further read the puppets to fully deduce their intended move.
Yasaka magatama - This alone destroys his 99 puppet army, his human body, or hiruko. Kazekage puppet is potentially the only thing that could even form a defence, if sasori is even able to manipulate it to manipulate iron sand fast enough
Totsuka - Totsuka works as both a normal sword and a sealing sword. A slash from totsuka is able to destroy alot - such as arms of puppets, weapons, or puppets on the whole. During his 99 puppet dance, sasori is usually stationary and is very open to a totsuka seal.
Itachi is a very intelligent ninja and has been shown to deduce a counter to any situation. He's been shown to defend against all of kakashi's attacks. He's been shown to defend against sasuke's arsenal. He's been shown to defend against nagato's, bee's and naruto's. He is the one who's said that every jutsu has a weakness, and he is the one with the superior skills of deduction (which the sharingan futher enhances).
Sasori would never cross itachi's path unless he had a death wish. Not even Obito wanted to risk his life with such a foolish endeavor.
