Exactly how many of you keep clicking on home page to see the latest threads? If you are a registered user and shouldn 't you looking for threads/new posts at NB?
You must be registered for see images
There are also
today's topics, and
new posts options. These links are much more helpful in checking out the interesting discussions.

There are hardly five threads listed at the home page at a time and not even stay there for long at a forum as busy as NB. Honestly I don't even get what's all this fuss about.
Funny history:
I do that, kind of like a reflex, the home page button as well as the forums button. Never really use today's topics or new posts.
Don't quite understand the second question; do you mean that, being registered users, that we should be looking for new threads/posts at NB, as in through the different forums or different functions such as today's topics, rather than??
Well I, for example, have rather parituclar interests and don't really venture many places other than the GD, Chatterbox sections, but mainly anime, manga & comics section; others only occasionally.
The fuss is about the GD section probably suffering from what I believe has been confirmed by at least a few people in this thread; members intentionally(possibly also unintentionally) placing threads in the wrong sections as a consequence of wanting attention to their threads which isn't attainable through making them in the Chatterbox, which is often the section most suitable.
How's that funny?
@
Wesobi: I see, indeed the responsibility lies with the users as you can only do that much without seeming like complete control freaks.
I think though, as trolling is rather a relative term here, with which I mean that I believe the reasons spans beyond simple trolling sometimes in the cases of "misplaced" threads; rather, they post in the GD, not with he intention to troll, but just in order to get the attention they consider their threads worthy of, which really makes this a matter of compromise, which I've been trying to point out, as it's sad to see how disorganised it gets, as a member and I bet, as moderators yourselves.
So all in all, my point is: Letting newly made chatterbox threads show in the
today's topics page, isn't it worth it if it means a shrinking amount of misplaced threads?
