This. Finally someone reasonable .

Uh, no, the decision of the Elders was to kill the WHOLE uchiha clan. It was entirely Itachi's fault for creating this arrogant demonspawn known as..Sasughay.

And they had absolutely no future plans for Sasuke, kay. it's totally different from Gaara's case

It's okay if Sasuke deserves a punishment for his so call "crimes", but so does the Ninja world by that logic.

Konoha: had a hand in the Uchiha massacre and made Itachi into the criminal as the world knows him to be.

Hidden Stone Village: used the Akatsuki for wars and was the top enemy in the 3rd Great Ninja War.

Cloud Village: the 4th Railkage gave the order to kidnapped Hinata so they can get the Byakugan on their hands and also kidnapped young Kushina Aka Minato wife and Naruto's mother and the 4th Railkage is also the reason why Neji's father had to die.

Mist Village: once know as the blood mist village and top of that Obito was their leader.

Sand Village: once working with Oro and even attacked the Leaf Village with Oro and top of that their Kazekage "Gaara" was part of it.

^I will be so nice to even color the Manga page for you.

In Conclusion: the five nations destroyed the Rain Village with their stupid and useless wars so please save me the trouble of how The Alliance will forgive Sasuke and Obito for their crimes.

Welp, actually, if he HADN'T accepted the mission, then he'd be trialed for the defiance against the orders of his superiors, lol. Once again, blame the user and not the gun. Itachi is not just a tragic hero. He is ninja Jesus. I doubt theee... Ninjasus

I totally agree with your stance

He's the King after all.

And I do think the biggest culprit of all is the shinobi system which Hashirama funded, the system is obviously the ultimate culprit and needs to be changed, but I still think that criminals like Sasuke, who were ''victims'' of said system should not be automatically forgiven like nothing happened, if that happens then I'll be greatly dissapointed.

Welp the system isn't perfect but it's BETTER than what they had earlier, y'know. There IS room for improvement, sure, but ya gotta put things into perspective first, y'know.

But even then, Sasuke is not the victim of the System, he's the victim of Uchiha Hate curse which automatically makes every uchiha greedy, arrogant and evil ( except for the weasel and shisui)

When I say ''victim'' of the system, I mean that the system provoked a big part of his trauma, that trauma led to his avenger stance towards his brother Itachi, and then when he found out the truth... you already know what happened.

The shinobi system puts the village before everything, and that's why Itachi accepted the decision of killing his entire clan with the condition that Sasuke would survive, as he had Hashirama's ideals, that decision is what made the monster called Sasuke in the long run.

But yeah, Sasuke has an unstable bloodline, but Tobirama has stated they loved even more than the Senju, their hate just grows even more.

Welp, if the village hadn't acted upon the upcoming revolution of Uchihas, there would be even bigger trauma for Sasuke...y'know, as in war, and it's not the system that was at fault for Uchihas planning a coup in the first palce, again, blame the uchiha blood curse.
And are you saying that putting your comrades well-being first isn't a good life-motto? And mind you, Itachi accepted the mission of killing every-single-uchiha first, so there'd be no emotional trauma for sasuke if all went according to plan, but Itachi couldn't go through with it so he asked The Third not to tell the truth to Sasuke

I think Sasuke also gave Obito the hachibi's tentacle... Which was needed to actually bring out the juubi. Obito said he only needed a piece of a bijuu's chakra to start the devastating transformations. So in that aspect Sasuke directly aided the enemy into bringing forth that beast. Without the tentacle Obito would have to get down and dirty and do it himself, which he might have been able to do, but Sasuke has a hand in this destruciton if I am not mistaken.

Sorry if I got that wrong, but with that piece of information alone, Sasuke deserves serious punishment. That is an international crime on a pretty massive scale, and "I have an uchiha illness" is not an excuse for me. However, I do think he can redeem himself, but him being alive and cheerful and dancing through the meadows with team 7 at the end is out of the question for me. At least until he starts acknowledging and paying for his actions.

Thank you for pointing that out, i'll definitely add that to the list of his crimes :hooray: rep

The coup d'etat was done for a reason, the Uchiha were feeling separated from the rest of the village and its politics, this is because Tobirama moved them to the outskirts and made them the Police force, and the Uchiha believed this to be an act of segregation towards them.

In the end it's all about the same thing, prejudice and grudges of the past.

Putting your comrades well-being first is indeed a honorable motto, but when you have to kill a part of those comrades for the well-being of the rest, it is a bit contradictory don't you think?, they could have sit and talked about it, but the elders and Danzo forced the genocide sadly, the Uchiha weren't very receptive either.

I agree with the bolded.

The bolded thing happened because Uchiha hate curse makes all them untrustworthy, overemotional and maglo-maniacal as it has been shown in the past. Are you going to trust a lunatic that's behaving like Sarah Palin on period 24/7 to take part in politics of your state, no i don't think so. (ba-duum-tss!)
You don't see this shit happening with the Hyuuga, un!

well crime is a crime there is no denying that.
but sasuke actions are not regarded as crimes.and he does not deserve punishment.
if you had asked whether sasuke is going to be punished the results would have been different.most of the people are just agreeing with that statement lol.

I never thought of Sasuke in terms of the punishment he should or might get. I've only ever considered how it might be possible for him to redeem himself.
