Nice work making the thread correctly this time.Hopefully this in the right section....
Lets get training :hyper:
Genjutsu is the art of casting illusion on the opponent. It changes what the user see's, allowing him to see what you want him to see. Basically, it alters the what the opponents mind perceives. To do this you must insert your chakra into the opponents body. Some genjutsu's change what the opponent feels, or can paralyze an opponent. In our RP, genjutsu is the cause of a lot of technical wins, due to not being countered right. Also, to get rid of a genjutsu you must first accurately describe how you knew it was genjutsu, then use a full body surge technique to get rid of it. Surges must be 1 rank above the genjutsu itself, if im not mistaken. Pain can also be used, but only up to B rank genjutsu it can break. Except for Tsukoyomi. This is all I knowNice work making the thread correctly this time.
So explain what genjutsu is, and everything you know about it.
Genjutsu is one of shinobi's 3 ways of fighting(ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu), it works by flowing your chakra into the opponent thereby effectively disturbing their chakra flow and manipulate their 5 senses to put them in an illusion. The illusion can be anything that you make it and it's very useful in battle because we all rely on our five senses to take in informaiton and perceive the world so any untrained shinobi of the mind would fall vulnerable to genjutsu user.
There are ways you can break out of a genjutsu but to it also takes a clear mind to realize that you are in a genjutsu if something very unrealistic is happening that you can't really explain through analysis, it's most likely a genjutsu. However, sensors and dojutsu users could almost always tell if they are placed in a genjutsu. You can break out of a genjutsu through pain which gives you waking agony(though some techniques could even control your pain like tsukuyomi so you can't break out of it with pain) or you could break out of it through full body surges that is when you speed up your chakra flow to an extent where you can take back control of your chakra. Full body surges would be chidori nagashi, lightweight body rock technique, curse mark and etc. If you have a partner or a clone, they could send their chakra into your system to disrupt the genjutsu that way.
All very good. Also, i'll only reply when both of you do. So, it's your responsibility to make sure the other person replies. Now, what are ALL the ways to release from genjutsu?Genjutsu is the art of casting illusion on the opponent. It changes what the user see's, allowing him to see what you want him to see. Never bite your tongue/lip/cheek to escape a genjutsu. Pain actually works for all ranks of genjutsu, just the amount of pain varies as the techniques get higher ranked.Understood!
You can use pain, such as biting off your tounge, stabbing yourself ect. This works for only up to B-rank Genjutsu. You can use a chakra surge technique, elemental (Must be 2 ranks above gen) or non-elemental(Must be 1 rank above gen). These techniques are like chidori nagashi and relative rock weight technique. They allow the user to gain back control of their chakra flow, dispelling genjutsu. Sharingan users are immune to some genjutsu, depending on how many tomoe they posses. Of course you must identify how you identified it as a genjutsu first. Kai is also another way to get out up to A rank. Jin cant be put in one. Curse mark can release you from gen and so can opening some gates
Never bite your tongue/lip/cheek to escape a genjutsu. You can inflict pain on yourself like biting your lip, tounge, hand or stab yourself, for lower ranked gen, you could use kai that would release you from genjutsu up to A rank. You could use full-body surges, elemental being ones that have to be one rank above the genjutsu used and non-elemental that need to be two ranks above. A full developed sharingan(3t) could only see through B rank visual genjutsu. Jinchuriki's can't be put in genjutsu because their bijuu give them chakra to release, if you have the eight gates, you can start opening them to release yourself, the large chakra surge would make it almost impossible for the opponent to take control of your flow. So yeah, i think i have covered everything.o_o

Chakra full body surges = 2 ranks above gen
Elemental full body surges = 1 rank above gen
You got those mixed up.
Kai can release up to S-rank genjutsu, it just depends on your rank within the forum. You're S-Class, im an Unofficial Sage. Jin CAN be placed in genjutsu, but their bijuu just expel the chakra.

Kai can release from up to S-rank genjutsu.

What about outside sources of chakra, say, from a clone? How can he help you?
A clone or a partner can
A. Disturb the opponents chakra in your body
B. Use pain to release you from a genjutsu, such as stabbing you, ect.
Good, all correct. But, it counts as a Kai usage now. So if you use it in battle, make sure to post the Kai technique. (After we learn it ofc)A clone or a partner can channel their chakra in you to disturb the opponents chakra in your body and technically bijuu are an outside source of chakra, they'd work just like a partner or a clone.
Nah, sounds cool ^.^Good, all correct. But, it counts as a Kai usage now. So if you use it in battle, make sure to post the Kai technique. (After we learn it ofc)
Now, I need a description of you performing each technique we learn. On top of that, I want a couple battle uses and techniques that you could pair the genjutsu with to make it a good combination attack. Questions?
No questions here.
First up for you two then.Nah, sounds cool ^.^
Not enough information or description.*Standing away from my opponent, I quickly insert my chakra into the opponents chakra, then manipulate his mind, and I change the terrain, making it look as if pillars have risen from the ground and surround him, trapping him*
This might be a good jutsu to use to make him think your using something like earth spikes to come from beneath him, and then use a jutsu that attacks the opponent from above
"He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature." Try it again. >_>I concentrate my chakra, flow it through my body as i channel it outside of me, sending it directly to your brain and interupting your chakra flow so i can manipulate your five senses with my chakra, i control your senses to perceive a sexy lady infront of you.
Battleuses: Perhaps in a fight if i move in close range and the opponent jumps back to try make distance i'd probably use this to make them think they're gonna land on a hole in the ground, then if they somehow land on the "hole" and see they still standing on ground, i'd make an earth spike rise from the ground under them. Tbh this technique to me is not very useful in a fight and i would not use it unless i was messing around or fighting someone with only D ranks

It's not interrupting the chakra flow, but more disturbing and manipulating it for your use. Rest looks good.2nd try...
* I focus my chakra into directly into my opponent, pouring my chakra outside of me and into his brain, manipulating his senses and his mind. I manipulate his mind and senses to the point where the terrain has changed, and he now sees earth pillars rise up around him and into a sort of prison, though he can still see through the bars. Giving him the sensation of being trapped*
This technique might be useful to trick an opponent into reacting into your fake terrain change, and then use a technique that would take advantage of that. For example, cause earth pillars to rise up and attack him from below, then use a real jutsu like earth release mud fall and trap him
