I form a single handseal and emit a more powerful chakra than I had previously into the opponents system placing him into an illusion. After that, I throw many explosive tags into the air. The opponent believes them to be butterflies. He then believes himself to sinking into the ground, immobilizing him. then throw one more explosive tag, this time onto the clones forehead. I then form 1 more handseal, detonating all of the bombs and causing damage to the opponent.

Seems really cool. Ive been against this before in my very first NW battle D: I escaped it only cuz we were in amegakure, and butterflies cant really fly well in the rain. Now, this in itself is a very powerful illusion. I wonder if you could stack this with BoD? I think ya could? O_OAs far as attack, If I had a clone Id have him set off the bombs early like a boss. Or trap him with Swamp of the underworld

That's a good reason to tell it's a genjutsu. Using your terrain to your advantage is a key plus for some situations.

You begin my performing one hand seal. Then manipulate his senses and make him believe that feathers are falling from the sky, putting him to sleep after one turn if not defended against. A useful technique in specific situations against multiple opponents..

That's a good reason to tell it's a genjutsu. Using your terrain to your advantage is a key plus for some situations.

Well, I dont know why this is short range D: This put a whole arena to sleep if Im not mistaken? The short range makes it a bit weaker, I dont know who uses genjutsu in short range if it doesnt paralyze >.> I mean, maybe if you had a clone off to the side or something xD Or, maybe if you have enough time, since its in short range yo could keep him busy whilst genjutsu takes effect. Idk if thatd work... Id combo it with some good old fashioned taijutsu/kenjutsu

I'll need more description than that. And yea, this one put the arena of people to sleep during the Chunin Exams. It works really well with clones in short range. One of you can use the gen, while the other attacks to ensure he can't defend from both at the same time. Tai/ken is a good choice because you can combo the techniques together.

Feathers are soft and cuddly, therefore people fall asleep. Simple.

Perform a single hand seal, and then manipulate my clone's sense of sight to fade away, so that they become blind. Perfect for use against clones, as it affects multiple people. This is probably the most useful canon genjutsu that there is

Yeah, this is awesome z_z There are ways to make it so that it makes the opponent seem like they went blind. Using flash bombs and shizz like that. I have a pending technique that's perfect U.UIt affecting other people is another big plus. If there was a technique that made no sound, it would be perfect for this. But there isn't, at least not any that I know of. Id use the A rank fire pillars, or Water Encampment, wouldnt really use any earth or wind jutsu, as they could be better heard and dodged

There are several CJ that make no sound, but yes, canon-wise it's more difficult to find. You can also use this to change your location so when he releases it, you'll be behind or to the side of him. Fast techniques such as False Darkness, or quiet techniques such as Underground Fish Projection can lead to quick kills if you can pull them off.

Anyway, perform a three technique combination move using 1 A-rank genjutsu, and 2 other techniques of your choice.

A pillar of water gushes up and throws him into the air. The pool then shoots out bullets of water towards him. He wouldnt be able to dodge them because he'd be blinded and confused. After the bullets pierce through him and spin him in the air, a water dragon forms above him and crashes into him, sending him towards the ground. He then causes earthen spikes to erupt from the ground and punctuting you because you landed on them.
