How deadly would be a Sasori and Itachi tag team?

What if Nagato partnered them up? How deadly would have these two been?

I can see them standing to each other and if the enemy looks up, he'll get caught in Itachi's Genjutsu or if he looks down, he won't be able to see Sasori's fingers and Sasori would poison him.

Or how hard would it be to battle 100 puppets and Susano'o at the same time while trying not to get scratched by the puppets or pierced by Totsuka Blade?

They would probably also agree on most things since they're both the quiet and smart type. I also reckon that these two would be able to analyze most Jutsu presented against them.

I believe that only people of Madara's, Hashirama's and Naruto's level would be able to beat these two together.

The thing is, they're pretty opposite.
Sasuke and itachi like to subtle kill.
Itachi tsukuyomi GG's while kisame samehade's your chakra away. They make it quick and simple, and the person is still in perfect condition.
Whereas... Deidara and sasori just blow shit up lmao. The cause so much destruction, especially deidara. For sasori to capture someone, he has to poison them. For deidara to capture someone, he has to blow them to near death lol.

Why not? Itachi is a reasonable guy unlike Orochimaru, and since the Orochimaru and Sasori partnership worked out (it probably did since Nagato decided that they should remain partners) why wouldn't this partnership work? Itachi seems to be the type that respects older people. And they're both mostly quiet.

Well, yes I'm agreeing that those are more funnier teams, but a Itachi/Sasori team would probably be deadlier because they're both really powerful, intelligent and would get along.

Yeah. Althought the original pairs are more entertaining, this pair would be more serious and deadly. For instance if these two stood to each other and were fighting someone, that someone wouldn't be smart if he looks up because he'll come into contact with either Itachi's eyes or his finger and will get caught into a Genjutsu, but if he looks down to fight them by looking at their feet he won't be able see Sasori's fingers moving and he would be struck by a poison senbon or something.

For the first time I'll have to disagree because Deidara admitted inferiority to Sasori and his C4 won't work due to the fact that Sasori doesn't need to breathe.

But if you ask me, I'd put Deidara as the 6th strongest Akatsuki member.
