How deadly would be a Sasori and Itachi tag team?

Itachi and Sasori would stand next to each other, Sasori controlling 3rd Kazekage puppet with 9 fingers while Itachi puts his index finger right next to them and pretend to be the 10th one, for anyone trying to read Sasori's finger movements, finger genjutsued.

Good tactic, I can see Itachi and Sasori doing that.

For the first time I'll have to disagree because Deidara admitted inferiority to Sasori and his C4 won't work due to the fact that Sasori doesn't need to breathe.

But if you ask me, I'd put Deidara as the 6th strongest Akatsuki member.
1. Obito
2. Nagato
3. Sasori
4. Itachi
5. Kakuzu
6. Deidara
7. Kisame
8. Konan
9. Zetsu
10. Hidan

pre Rinnegan Obito would be No.3 at best.
I'd say
1. Itachi/Nagato
3. Obito pre Rinnegan
4. Sasori
5. Kisame/Kakuzu/Deidara
8. Hidan/Konan

I don't know about Zetsu yet.
without prep Konan isn't stronger than Hidan. and in team battle Hidan can be one of the most deadly ninja if used properly.

To be honest, I believe Hidan can take out Konan too. I think he can outlast her with his stamina. How do reckon Hidan would win?? I'm curious to know the answer. IMO, Hidan is underrated.

Hidan can tank many of Kakuzu's elemental attacks that shows he's very durable plus he's a good taijutsu user that prevents him from getting incapacitated by the paper, with better endurance he can out last Konan.

even if Sasori can beat Itachi in a 1 on 1 fight, it only means Sasori is a good counter for Itachi, doesn't mean Itachi is weaker than him overall, plus I'm not sure if they fought Sasori would be able to counter all Itachi's jutsus

Konan with no prep, a mobile Hidan has the potential to dodge and tank all the paper bombs.

Well, I think there were several threads made in which was explained how Sasori counters all of Itachi's jutsu.

Yeah, maybe Hidan is stronger than Konan, but a lot of people would disagree with us.
