Sasuke never joined the akatsuki the taka was working alongside them and neither is naruto as far as being hokage

I don't see how paperwork can be the only argument some people come up with. Hokage's have advisors, who helps him to make decisions.

A hokage can also have an assistant, Like Tsunade and Shizune...

When Minato was Hokage, the Third did the paperwork.

You try to play Naruto off as selfish, when he isn't a selfish person. Being Hokage was both Minato and Kushina's dream. People died for Naruto and everyone believes that he will become Hokage...

Tsunade bet her life on Naruto when she protected him from Kabuto. Naruto won't let those people who died for him, die for nothing.
