So I have yet another amusing theory for you all, albeit not as thought out as my previous ones.
So as we know Minato sealed Kurama's Yin Chakra inside of him which allows Kurama to physically manifest itself.
However, as we've recently seen, Orochimaru demonstrated the ability to undo the Reaper Seal at the cost of ones own life.
Now, in Orochimaru's case, he had the Body Transfer Technique to jump into Zetsu and avoid being Seppuku-D.
Minato has it one better because he's an Edo and is for all intents and purposes immortal.
Now then
It's been said that Minato has some knowledge of the Uzumaki and their sealing, we could also assume he has knowledge of this temple, and if Orochimaru allows the Edo Kage to leave, what's stopping Minato from undoing the seal and releasing Kuramas' Yang Chakra which I would then think would return to Naruto.
Yes, yes I know this would make him ridiculously OP, but it might just be the game changing powerup Naruto needs to stomp Madara, and then take on Sasuke.
