Excellent theory which makes sense but if the Rinnegan is derived from both the Sharingan and the Byakugan then how did Madara Uchiha obtain the Rinnegan WITHOUT the Byakuugan?

I believe that's because the elder son had inherited the already mutated or combined eye from the Sage so when Madara inserted Hashi's DNA in himself The mutated or combined eye(Rinnegan) got activated.... =D =D

EDIT - Also the combination of the Ten Tails eye and The SO6P's Byakugan didn't break after The Sage removed The Ten Tails out of his own body.... Which means the combo had become permanent.... =D =D

I like this theory, especially the part that the sage is part Uzumaki and Hyuga.
That would make Kakashi statement valid about the Sharingan having originated from the only dojutsu at the time the Byakugan.
Also It would explain how the Senju develop strong body and massive chakra like the Uzumakis.
Finally it would make the NaruHina pairing more relevant since it would parallel the origin of the Sages of SP.
Good job for making a very possible theory.

I agree with almost everything except I think the sage was full blooded hyuga. Before he could teach ninjutsu he would first have to understand how the chakra network works, then that plus the 10 tails nature affinities allowed him to see how to form and mold chakra into the elements. Kinda how the 4th hokage studied the outer body chakra control of the tailed beast bomb and made the rasengan, the so6p was able to see how to perfrom basic level ninjutsu and teach it.
