Selendrile's Training Method
So every sensei has a teaching method they prefer. I've created an original one that is listed below with the criteria you should complete for every technique..
1. Explain yourself performing the technique in a well detailed description. Necessary hand seals, nature and shape manipulation should be included as well.
2. List advantages and disadvantages of the technique.
3. I will post a counter to each technique you learn. Depending on what I post, tell me if it is a good or bad counter, and the reasons why. Disregard ranking for this, just focus on the properties and characteristics of each technique.
4. Rate the technique's speed of use, and why you rated it so:

(Raiton: Jibashi) - Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder

Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.
Focus your chakra into your hands, and then release a wave of electricity onto the ground from your hands. Make the lightning travel through the ground, ripping through it before hitting my clone.

To begin I concentrate my Raiton chakra and I then push it into my hands. There I begin to quickly gather my chakra by continuously channeling a steady stream to that point. I then focus the chakra out of my hands and simultaneously use nature manipulation to transform it into lightning. By doing so I release a wave of electricity that I direct through the ground towards you clone, were upon reaching him it shocks him through his feet.
Adv-No hand seals
Power boost if used with water
Disadv-Short range only
Ill try to refer to all your counters as either good, average or bad. This one I believe is average as I think the two jutsu will just travel through each other, so it won't protect you from my lightning but your water will become electrified as it comes towards me thus gaining power. I think anyway >.>
As for speed of use I would rate this technique as medium as it requires no hand seals but it doesn't travel through the ground particularly fast.

Description: This technique allows the user to breathe wind-infused chakra into the palm of their hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. Then the user will shoot it at their opponent. This technique seems to be very fast and powerful, as it is capable of smashing through thick rock. They can be launched in rapid succession.

To begin I concentrate my Raiton chakra and I then channel it into my right hand. There I start to amass the chakra, building up a sufficient amount fairly quickly. I then focus the chakra out of my palm and simultaneously use nature manipulation to change it into lightning. By doing so I form an orb of lightning in my hand, I then thrust my hand, launching this ball at your clone where it strikes him in the chest and electrifies him.
Adv-No hand seals
Diasdv-The ball is fairly small
You must form the ball in your hand first, giving your intentions away
This technique is a good counter to my own I believe. This is due to the natural advantage wind has over lightning plus your technique is faster than my own and can be used multiply times rapidly. Thus making easy to counter and overpower my technique.
The speed of use for this technique I think is medium as it requires no hand seals but doesn't travel particularly fast once launched.

(Raiton: Raigeki no Yoroi) - Lightning Release: Lightning Strike Armour

Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.
Focus your raiton chakra onto the edges of your body, surrounding yourself with electricity. This electric field will protect you from several physical attacks.

(Doton: Nentsuchi Otoshi) – Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop

Description: The user creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of mud, covering them. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

I then emit the chakra into the air from all over my body, as it leaves I use nature manipulation to transform it into lightning. I then form this lightning into an electric field that is quite close to my body. I then punch your clone in the gut, with my field bolsterig my punch my elctrocuting your clone as soon as I make contact.
Adv-Good defence against weak Doton techniques

Good to augment taijutsu
Disadv-Only lasts for one attack
Due to the close proximity of the lightning, you are vulnerable to suiton techniques
I rate your counter as average. This is due to the fact that although earth is naturally weak to lightning, the sheer amount of mud created changes things. The lightning would neutralise the mud that initally falls on me but not all of it, thus the two techniques would end up cancelling each other. I think anyway
As for speed of use, I think this technique is fast. This is due to the lack of required hand seals and the lightning is formed quite close to the body meaning that this technique requires very little time to be fully activated.

(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) - Lightning Style: Stone Avalanche

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.
-Walks you over to a cliff-
Focus chakra into your feet, and run up the cliff. Peform the required hand seals, and keep your hands clapped together. Use small bursts of raiton chakra to dislodge stones and rock from above to fall down past you, onto my clone at the bottom.
-Creates clone-

Descripton: A large sphere of rotating water that is spit out of the users mouth that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.

To begin I concentrate my Raiton chakra and I then push it into my feet. There I begin to build up my chakra, quickly amassing a significant amount which should be more than enough for this technique. I then focus my chakra at the bottoms of my feet and I take off running up the cliff face. As I do this I perform the Snake → Upside down Tiger hand seals and finally clap my hands together, holding them there. I then focus my stored chakra out of the bottoms of my feet and as I release the chakra I use nature manipulation to change it into lightning. By doing so I create small bursts of lightning that crack and dislodge rocks from the cliff face. These rocks then fall down towards your clone, where upon hitting him they do enough damage to make him disperse.
Adv-Only two hand seals
Disadv-You must keep your hands clasped during this technique
A very situational jutsu
I rate your counter as good. As far as I can tell since the rocks have no Doton chakra in them and they would already be weakened by the Raiton used to dislodge them, I think that the water would be powerful enough to be able to smash the falling rocks that are an immediate danger and still continue towards me. Thus it serves as both offensive and defensive and is a good counter. I think lol
As for speed of use I rate this technique as slow. It first requires two hand seals and you must be on a cliff face to use it, so after fulfilling these two requirements the rocks still get dislodged and then fall fairly slowly towards your opponent.

(Raiton: Shuurai Rappa no Jutsu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Strike Horn Technique

Description: The user will raise their hand infront of them like a sword and it will begin glowing a pale yellow before releasing bolts of lightning in the shapt of a horn that spread outwards allowing it to attack multiple targets
Focus your chakra, and then raise one of your hands in front of you, towards my clone. As you focus your chakra, it should glow a pale yellow color. Then release lightning bolts from your hand in the shape of horn that spreads out in front of you. Kill a line of my clones.

Description: This technique will infuse wind-based chakra into bladed weapons. The user can than manipulate the blades in a spinning manner to attack the target.

To begin I concentrate my Raiton chakra. I then channel my chakra into my right hand, there I start to quickly gather my chakra. Building up a significant mass in a short amount of time. I then raise my hand and focus my built up chakra, once I do so my hand beings to glow a pale yellow. I then release the chakra forwards from my hand, as it leaves I use nature manipulation to transform it into lightning. Once the lightning is formed I use shape manipulation to form it into a large horn shape, this horn then reaches your clones and decimates the area, causing the entire group to disperse.
Adv-No hand seals
Can be used to attack multiple targets
Disadv-The yellow glow from your hand can give a small insight into your intentions. Giving your opponent more time to react.
I would rate your counter as bad. That particular technique has to be used with bladed weapons, so assuming you use it with normal shuriken, they offer little defense for yourself. I think that the shuriken would go through my lighting technique and continue towards me but they would destroy very little of my lightning jutsu, leaving the rest to continue towards you. Overall a below average counter attack and a bad defense.
As for speed of use I would rate this technique as slow. This is mainly due to the fact that as soon as you start the technique the glow appears on your hand, before the lightning is even released. This gives your opponent much more time. The lightning also doesn't travel particularly fast and thus my rating.

( Raiton: Inazuma ken Fudou ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Blades Levitation

Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s.
So first channel your lightning chakra into this sword. Then using your chakra, "levitate" the sword in front of you. Once that is done, create copies of sword, similar to a shadow clone. Then send them forward, spinning on their axis, to cut through my clone.

(Fūton: Shinkūjin) - Wind Release: Vacuum Blade

Description: The user exhales wind-infused chakra onto a weapon in order to increase its sharpness, range and lethality. For example, the user can infuse a kunai to resemble a makeshift scimitar or infuse shuriken to increase their range and cutting power.

*Pulls out a sword from somewhere* O_O To begin I concentrate my Raiton chakra and I then push it into my sword through my hands. In there I begin to gather my chakra by channeling a continuous stream up from my gut. Then I focus the stored chakra and by using nature manipulation I create a strong current of electricity through the blade which increases its cutting potential, I also focus my chakra to cause the blade to levitate in the air in front of me. I then focus my chakra once again and I create two exact duplicates of my sword that levitate in the air on either side of the original. I then cause the blades to spin, slowly at first but picking up speed quickly until they are spinning quite rapidly. I make the two outside blades spin vertically and the middle horizontally. I then send them towards your clone, keeping theyre rotation going as they near him. Once they reach him they slice through him easily.
Adv-No hand seals
Disadv-I would guess that while you are controlling the swords, you can't perform other techniques.
A very situational technique, only useful in certain situations.
I would rate your counter as average. Although wind has a natural advantage over lightning and you gain extra range, the levitating swords pose a interesting problem. Since they are only levitating and controlled by the users will they are much more mobile and lack the body of the wielder to get in the way, so they can be moved about much quicker and in different ways then normal. Thus they would be hard to deal with using only this technique but not overly hard.
I rate the speed of use for this technique as medium. The technique requires no hand seals and you must only focus chakra into a nearby sword which can be done fairly quickly. But the cloning of the sword and the fact that the sword don't move particularly fast slows this technique down a bit and thus my rating.

You can use other techniques while you send the swords forwards. Also, I would rate the counter as a good counter, since you are clashing two weapons techniques against each other with wind having the advantage. I would also rate the technique as slow, as there are multiple steps you must complete before the technique is finished.

(Raiton: Denki Railanshō ) - Lightning Release: Electric Discharge Palm

Description: The user will manipulate their lightning chakra in their dominant hand generating electrical bolts of lightning around their forearm and they then jump into the air. The user will then land slamming their palm onto the ground causing the electrical energy to become discharged sending out bolts of lightning into the ground and around them up to 5 meters.
Focus your lightning chakra into your hand, and then jump into the air. As you land, slam your palm onto the ground, and release the gathered chakra through the ground, releasing bolts of lightning up to 5 meters.
-Creates a clone, who rushes forward-

I then land on the ground and slam my hand, releasing the chakra and using nature manipulation to transform it into lightning. *By doing so I create powerful bolts of electricity that surge through the ground towards your clone, shocking him.*

Disadv-the electricity is short range only
The electricity present around your arm before you use the technique could give away your intentions
As for your counter I would rate it as good. This is mostly due to the much faster speed of use than my own technique, as you could easily observe the elctricity around my hand and as I jump into the air you release the bullet and knock me backwards. Thus easily countering my technique.
As for speed of use I rate this technique as slow. This is mainly due to two factors. The presence of the electricity around the arm before you use the technique. This gives the enemy some insight into your intentions.The second being that if you are mid range from the opponent you must jump through the air towards him otherwise the electricity won't reach him since it only affects short range.
Also I have a question
about the two main types of lightning(unfocused and piercing)and how they react to water:If an opponent used an unfocused electricity attack towards you and you counter with a higher rank water bullet, does the water overpower the lightning and become electrified?
Also if your opponent used an attack like flase darkness sphere an you used a water bullet of the same rank, would the two techniques continue through each other with the water becoming electrified?
