Chapter 2- The Night
Jaiden picked his zanpakuto up from the ground and took it over to the sleeping captain. As he was approaching his captain, the woman with the dark blue hair gathered his spewed blood into a cup and drank from it, and suddenly her spiritual pressure rose. She smirked again and sat on one of her servants to watch. Jaiden stabbed his sword into his captain?s heart coldly and then ripped his sword out. But suddenly, the captain began melting into liquid pyrite and then sunk into the ground as it dripped over the bedside.
7th Division Captain: Bakudou #13: Fool?s Gold?U_U I?m disappointed in you Jaiden. I thought you were stronger than that, but you gave in to this woman?s influence.
Unknown (1): Move aside punk!! Discover, Mokushi!!!
The unknown person?s sword changed into a gleaming infrared beam sword with infrared fire beams all around it. He charged at the captain, but much to his surprise, his sword disappeared from his hand before he could hit the captain who had disappeared. The captain reappeared behind the man and a huge gash of blood formed across the unknown man?s chest, slicing him in half. The man fell to the ground with both halves of his body dripping blood. With the enemy?s blade in his hand, the captain?s face was now visible. He had blonde hair with one large bang over his left eye.
???: Oh dear?you killed my slave. I would expect at least that much from a captain level shinigami however. I suppose that I must get involved then *unsheathes zanpakuto*. Let?s begin.
7th Division Captain: As you wish.
The captain smashed his zanpakuto against the mysterious woman?s, but the woman parried his blade and slashed him across his right side. The captain jumped back and prepared to use a kidou spell.
7th Division Captain: Bakudou #61: Rikujou Korou (Six Rod Light Prison)! *binds the woman with six rods of light around her*?Hadou #73: Soren Soukatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire Crash Down)!!
The entire building exploded in blue fire and caused a shockwave to go outward, knocking random bystanders to the ground and into the air. The debris fell to the ground, and the dust finally cleared, revealing the woman standing still as if nothing had happened. Before her was a giant servant who had sacrificed himself for her. Her image suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind the captain to stab him, but the 7th Division Captain blocked the attack with his zanpakuto. The woman hit his sword repeatedly and then quickly slashed him across the chest without any effort. The captain stepped back, blood dripping from the gash that had been made from the cutting. He sighed and held his zanpakuto up into the air.
7th Division Captain: Raise your head, Wabisuke!
Meanwhile in North Rukongai District 1, a middle-aged man sat on his front porch in a rocking chair with a fan in his hand. He also had an odd looking hat on his head that was green and white striped and the back of his rocking chair had the number ?12? written in Kanji on it. Alongside him was another man wearing a captain?s robe with the number ?12? on the back as well. He had dark hair and a zanpakuto with a red hilt and diamond-shaped guard. It was the 10th Squad Captain, Ragnaroc.
Ragnaroc: Urahara-san, you can tell can?t you? Something?s wrong in Soul Society.
Urahara: Yeah?but what would something like that be of any concern to an old man like me? ^.^
Ragnaroc: O_O what?s this?!
Yoruichi: It?s an arrancar?s spiritual pressure.
Ragnaroc: Why? There shouldn?t be any arrancar this strong left anywhere?and yet?how? The hogyoku was destroyed.
Urahara:
well?there may have been some remnants of its power in Hueco Mundo because Aizen used it so much. Thus, hollows may still be able to become powerful arrancar.
Yoruichi: However, this specific spiritual pressure seems familiar, but I can?t get a good idea of who?s it is from our location.
Ragnaroc: Whoever it is, they could pose a huge threat to Soul Society. That?s for certain. Anyway, Urahara-san, about the agreement?
Somewhere near Seireitei, a dark figure crept through the streets, silently killing all shinigami that were on guard. He approached a giant house, the Kuchiki Family Mansion. As he walked toward the side entrance, Rukia stepped out to greet him with her guards.
???: Sh*t! I?ve been spotted. I guess there?s no avoiding it.
Rukia: What business do you have here? ~_O *shines a light on the figure* O_O No way?an arrancar!!
Kyuka: Yep. Espada #7, Kyuka Riju. Much obliged.
Rukia: Espada? The Espada are?
Kyuka: Very much alive. As long as arrancar exist, so will the Espada. Now, Kuchiki Rukia, I must kill you for my Mistress. >
Kyuka immediately sliced through all of Rukia?s guards in a second and then charged toward her with his fist. Rukia ducked the attack and triped the arrancar with a sweeping kick followed by a spinning air kick combo and a blast of kidou. Kyuka went rolling on the ground, but he quickly got up. He used sonido to get behind Rukia and grab her in his hands. She was completely in his grip, and now he began to crush her. Rukia grabbed tight hold of her zanpakuto and sliced through the arrancar?s hand, but it quickly regenerated from the blood.
Rukia: What the hell?!
Kyuka: I?m the only Espada with the power to regenerate from blood like our Mistress, BiBi.
Rukia: Who? O_O
Kyuka: I?ve said enough. Time for you to die.
Kyuka held his hand open in front of him, aiming towards Rukia. A small orb of red reiatsu formed and grew until it shot out toward Rukia.
Rukia: Cero!
Right as Rukia was getting ready to release her zanpakuto, the cero exploded and kicked up a huge amount of dust and debris. Rukia was left on the floor as was Kyuka. They got up, confused as to what had just happened. As the dust cleared, a tall man wearing a captain?s robe and having orange hair stood with his sealed zanpakuto pointed toward the Espada.
Ichigo: I?m here now, Rukia?:|
Rukia: *slaps Ichigo* U_U I didn?t need your help, now go away! I can handle him on my one, Ichigo. >.<
Ichigo: We?ll take him down together then because I haven?t had many fights in a while, so this should be fun. I?ll release and he?ll go down without a second word.
Rukia: I?m not being counted out of this one. U_U Dance. Sode no Shirayuki.
Rukia?s blade turned into a pure white zanpakuto with a pure white hilt, guard, and blade. It was truly Soul Society?s most beautiful zanpakuto. She then appeared beside Kyuka and swung her sword outward to her right.
Rukia: Some no Mai (First Dance), Tsuki Shirou (White Moon)!
A white circle of ice formed around them the entire area, and Ichigo quickly jumped out of the circle. The circle engulfed Kyuka completely and froze everything within its domain, including the sky.
Rukia: Farewell, Arrancar?
