[Question] Why are my threads getting deleted?

I was just wondering why a couple of my threads in this section are getting deleted not closed? If a mod wants to close it, that's fine, but please don't delete it.

You have a pretty high reputation, so I can't see how your threads could be deleted...maybe they were moved into a different area? That can mess up the URL redirect.

Reputation means little to nothing. XD There are some pretty mean and nasty people who have high reputation.

They could have been deleted because the suggestion was made various times before. I've seen a suggestion made time and time again, while the first thread about it was clearly still on the first page and could still be viewed.

But you won't know for certain until you contact a moderator responsible for this section about it. He/She is the only one who can give you the answer - if he/she wants to.

We, in NB do not like people advertising their anime forums and attempts to make competing communities. We like it even less when these people bluntly try to get us to help them do it.

So, one would assume a person with 2 neurons and a bit of common sense could get the hint.

We close your threads because you're trying to get help into making an anime/manga community. Not only that but you want OUR help (the staffs) by asking stuff like "which add ons are on NB?" or "how to add the moderator and rank bars on VB4?", etc etc. We do not have to state why we delete or close a thread. Its at our discretion, but in your case, if your IQ had more than 2 digits, I supposed you'd be able to figure out the why.

I might as well state it in public. Advertising no matter how it is done is not allowed on NB.
Since you already have chosen your new moderators they should get a first taste of how moderating really is. We have the list of people and they share your responsibility of advertising. All of them.
