Chapter 10 - The Truth
Scene starts with Hitsuga drinking tea and eating cookies
Hitsuga : Mmmm...mm ...Wow , thats good !!! ^^
Hisashi and Miyuki looking at him
Hisashi : ?.?
Miyuki : ?.?
Hitsuga notices them observing him with suspect faces
Hitsuga : ...WHAAAAAAAT !!!???
Hisashi : Ehhh...
Miyuki : We thought you wanted to tell us something...
Hitsuga : ...mmm...let me finish this mmmm...coo...hmmm...cie...mhmmmhhmm...
10 minutes later
All 3 of them walking in the street together
Hisashi : Well?
Hitsuga ( singing ) : NaNaNa ...oh yeah !!! Sorry ^^
Hitsuga : Ok, I will get serious now ^^
Miyuki ( thoughts ) : Finally...
Hitsuga ( serious ) : I'm happy you are not hurt . That demon you fought - was a big candy for you two.
You two need to learn a lot . Good thing your kigai is high enough to keep energy shield active . If not that, you would be hurt badly or even worse.
Hisashi : ki...ai ? What the hell is that ?
Hitsuga : Your soul energy is called - kigai .
Hitsuga : Lets start with the story, I will make it short . It happened 999 years ago .
We were living in peace that day . Thought we were aware , enemy could attack anytime . ...and it happened . Night came and shadows covered our land. Demons started to appear everywhere . Fight began and most of the villagers were killed in first minutes . Only strongest left to defend weak ones.
Demon appeared at night only , we had time to rest . Soon we all left the village...thought there was no village left . We moved to Katshu - another village not so far away from ours.
Sadly , those bastards followed us .We ordered villagers to escape .
We had no choice , we had to fight them. And we did great , our allie from Katshu joined us.
We were winning , but ...suddenly stronger demons appeared . I think we were 8 left by that time .
After few moments we berely breathed. Only Ashumi fought with all her strength.
Then bright light surrounded us ...
...I have no memories after that .
Hisashi : Wait !
How can you have memories about that ?! Hitsuga : I found a ring when I was a kid . Soon after I found it , I started to hear voices in my head time to time . Just a week ago , I heard a voice telling me to go right here and search for you two . I have been atacked by demons few times on my way here , I got injured near this village .Later few guys helped me.
Before I found you two fighting I had a dream . A guy in dream told me that its time for him to go . Right after that I woke up with no injuries and ring . But I had all this in my mind .
Hitsuga ( sad ) : Those memories were traped inside that ring for 999 years...
Hitsuga looks at Miyuki .
Hitsuga : Your necklase ...
Looks at Hisashi
Hitsuga : Your bracelet...keeps memories , knowledge , power and spirit one of those 8 warriors in the past , same as my ring did .
Miyuki :
!!!Hisashi :
!!!Hitsuga : When you fought those demons only small part were released. If you release it by force you may lose you own memories .
Hisashi : So this is because of my brace...and Miyukis necklace ... is that what those things want ??!!
Miyuki : ...necklace
Hitsuga : Not quite , most likely demons are getting ready to invade our world , but its weird that they didnt tryed it before .
I guess they are hunting us because we posses high kigai. They are aware that we may couse problems to their plans. I see no other reason for them to attack us .
Miyuki : But how demons appear in our world ?
Hitsuga : We used to call it Shadow Gate, its another dimension, in other words it another world .
Hisashi : ...this is so unbelievable
Miyuki : Yes...
Hitsuga : I understand , Heh ! I was expecting worse reaction from you =D
Hisashi : Hey ! You said there was 8 of you . Is there ...
Hitsuga interupts Hisashi
Hitsuga : We 8 in the past were called Shadow Reapers .
I believe my ....our top priority is to gather all the Reapers . If they exist.
Miyuki : Uh! ...5 more...
Hisashi : How we are going to find them ?
Hitsuga : Hmmm? I assume you two decided...right ?
Miyuki : We have no choice. If we wont do it ... end of the world will turn into reality.
Hisashi : ...right
Hitsuga ( with a smile ) : Then... its decided . We are new Shadow Reapers .
Hisashi : ( thoughts ) : I hope we are right about this...
Miyuki : Hitsuga ?
Hitsuga : Yes .
Miyuki : What about my necklace and Hisashi's bracelet ?
Hitsuga : I will try to explain you later , now get a sleep . We are leaving tommorow .
Miyuki : Ok, lets stay at my house together .
Hitsuga ( thoughts ) : No wonder , she must be afraid of demons ...or even her own abilitys after all this...
Hisashi : Right Miyuki , its safer to us all ,this way .
And Shadow Reapers got into the dreams and nightmares.
Next day
Miyuki : Good Morning !!! Breakfast is ready !!!
Hisashi : Owww... this night wasnt the best . Good morning Miyuki !
Hitsuga : Good Morning !
Hisashi : ..eeeeeeyyyy , why didnt you wake me up ? -.-
Hitsuga : Oh ...well I thought ...you were sleeping so deep , we didnt wanted to interupt your dreams ^^
Hisashi : ( thoughts ) : dreams ?!! That was a nightmare !!!! >.<
Hisashi : Thanks...
Miyuki : =D Hihi... get up Hishi , tea will get cold .
Miyuki leaves the room
Hisashi : I can drink cold tea too , uhhh !
Hisashi falls on the bed
Hitsuga is standing near doors and smiling
Hitsuga : I'm glad you accepted.
Hitsuga leaves the room
Hisashi is looking at Hitsuga leaving
Few moments later
Hitsuga, Hisashi and Miyuki are finishing breakfast
Hisashi : ( smiling ) : Ummm! That was great !
Hitsuga ( smiling ) : Indeed , thanks Miyuki
Miyuki : Hahaha !!! I thought I cook terrible !!! Hahaha !!! Thank you guys =P
Hisashi : Hahahahah =)
Hitsuga : Hehehe...
Suddenly, smile dissapears from his face
Hitsuga : Miyuki . You have asked about necklace and bracelet you two have . As you know one of Shadow Reapers spirits are sealed there. I could only guess which Shadow Reapers spirit it contains . Theres two ways to use these spirits. First is to release a part of that energy - like you did before .
And the second way is to release it fully - by force . But this way is deadly for your memories and personallity , if you do release it by force your memories of all your life will be replaced by memories of the Reaper from your bracelet or neclace . Never brake your necklace or brace , unless you are sure theres no other way .
Hisashi : Damn...this is not a game . Miyuki do you have any idea how to release your necklace spirit ? >.<
Miyuki : No. My necky spirit releases on its own . And I guess I'm unconscious when its released .
Hitsuga : Uh ! What the... hmh... what about you Hisashi ?
Hisashi : I remember everything...=\
Hitsuga ( thoughts ) : This is not good...
Few seconds silence
Hitsuga : Dont worry you two , I will teach you some tricks .
Hisashi and Miyuki smile
Hitsuga : Allright , lets get ready . We are leaving .
And Hisashi ...
Hisashi : Huh ?
Hitsuga : Dont forget to pack some cookies for our journey ^^
Hisashi : Oh geeeeeeeezzz -.-
