Didn't even realise until you just posted that, its awesome tsunade is running from a dear and A is getting eaten by a bear, mei is swimming with a whale, I think gaara was with a badger or something... yep this is what the series has turned to, symbolism which kishi didn't even put there.

Apart from those odd things it looks really good, a different kind of animation and madara scenes, what a spoiler though

You can never trust naruto openings animation and scenes, remember the pain invasion arc openings none of that happened but it looked epic!

That's fine regardless since the manga fight is good enough, they just have to not mess that up!

I really disliked the episode.
It was almost only a flashback from the sound+sand vs Konoha time.
And conversation between Kabuto and Hayate.
Almost nothing else happened.


Usually I rate 3-5 for the episodes.
This one I gave a 1.

The most part of the episode was a meaningless flashback. Terrible opening too, would much prefer the older one. Having said that I like seeing the chuunin exam dude. I like him in part one.

Yay fillers, lol. 5* from me.
But I actually enjoy the fillers, didn't mind the flashback and stuff.
Madara will come, there's no rush!

I really enjoyed this episode surprisingly. That Part 1 soundtrack filled me with nostalgia, and it was good to see Hayate. I always wondered what happened to that woman who talked to Kakashi at Obito's grave before the Third's funeral. Am I the only one that absolutely loved the opening/ending? I thought the opening was epic, with it's only bad sides being the amount of spoilers it had. The ending was great as well, it was more of a fun happy ending.
