How did Hashirama knew Madara came back to life?

I'm obviously talking about the same Madara that Hashirama was talking about when he said:
"I don't know how Madara could come back to life"
If Oro was the good answer , edo Madara would be in the question.sick

Madara was revived but not by edo tensei("between this and the other world"someone saved him?) .Or Hashirama is lying.
So they met again not a long time after that fight , a few years after , perhaps.
Madara ( not edo madara ) have the living body of Hashirama.
Hashirama's soul was sealed in a Uzumaki jutsu not a long time after Madara's first death.
Can Madara do that alone?
