Konoha Elders+Danzo

I was thinking that the 2 elders of konoha are in it with Danzo..They have been known to lean toward Danzo's way of thinking on occasion.They even seem to at least somewhat dislike Tsunade.But i digress.

After they got into an argument over Tsunade about naruto...They havent been seen.....at all. Then i thought "hmmmm...maybe they found shelter" but that idea went out my brain when i realized most of the villiage was destroyed.The whole village is in chaos and these 2 are nowhere to be found,considering they were last seen in the hokages mansion,and thats building basically doesnt exist anymore

Last thing...I really wonder how strong they actually are. I mean they were on the same squad as the ninja that became Hokage(The Third). They may be even older now since the Third died but since the orochimaru vs. third fight/sasori vs. sakura:chiyo, i have stopped underestimating old people in the naruto universe.I mean,people in naruto who were over 50 yrs.of age were pretty strong(jiraiya,orochimaru,kakuzu,third,chiyo)

It wouldn't surprise me if the elders were with Danzou down in his bunker. They always seem to support his ideas and also as you said they dislike Tsunade. Also they always know the same secrets as Danzou such as the truth behind Itachi.

I don't think so because back when the elders were choosing a Hokage they could have chose Danzo but opted for Jiraiya and settled for tsunade they could have just chose Danzo if they were in league with him i think they are just being hard on her because they feel that it is their job.
