Naruto only got the ability to sense hostile chakra after he got KCM, so could that mean she had KCM too ?

She was the host to they kyuubi, every jin can use the chakra cloak it just doesnt look like narutos

Personally, I want KCM to be exclusive to Naruto since he's been training to control his Tailed Beast powers for many years.

I'd rather have Biju mode stay Naruto only, making him only person to be able to bond his chakra with tailed beast chakra completely. However id like for Mito to have KCM making her first truly badass female character

KCM was the the new seal being used to physically remove Kurama's chakra from himself and gating it off for use.

It makes sense that an Uzumaki could have been able to do it. KCM being used by Mito and Bijuu mode being exclusive to Naruto sounds good to me.

"Filled with lifeforce". This is the only reason he was able to sense Kisame in the first place. Note that it's not an ability restricted to Mito herself, but is invoked through the control of the nine-tails. Also note that this looks like some cloak, yet Naruto has had a cloak of the nine-tails several times before, but he wasn't in his right mind. My point? It takes a considerable amount of control over Kurama to be able to use his life force to sense others. If my memory is correct, Madara also used the Juubi to sense the headquarters, thus further concreting the fact it's the control of natural energy/Kurama that enabled her to sense others.

Naruto only did so after he utitlized Kurama's chakra.

Proof ? She was an uzumaki, I'm sure she could have modified the seal.

That doesn't haven't anything to do with it. If anything, having the full kyuubi and a less convenient seal would have made it even harder for Mito to do what Naruto did. Thus an even more impressive feat. She wouldn't have had the seal to help her control the chakra of a complete Kurama.

Also, Mito's seal could have very well been like Naruto's.

Im sure it just was her special ability. Naruo kinda has it too, since he is uzumaki but its too weak on his own. The powerful yang chakra empowers this ability to the point where its viable.
