You have got to realize that coming to these forums with any question about absolutely anything is an endeavor of stupidity. The reason being that a vast majority of Naruto fans are incredibly slow-witted. Don't ask me why, it just is.

To answer your question, practice. Then practice. Then practice a bunch more. All singles. You just need to get the feel of it. It really is a different game than with supports. Not really more difficult, just different.

what i mean't was being good at a game isn't something that can be taught to one. It has to earned through practice and losing countless times.
This guy is absolutely right. The best way to get good at any game is to get the shit kicked out of you by better players. It does no good to continuously beat less skilled players. You start picking up bad habits and plans. Losing to better players, however, will teach you the technicalities of the game. Sure, getting your ass stomped on all day isn't a lot of fun. As long as you don't allow it to annoy you, you just start truly paying attention to what it is that makes them better than you. You then adjust accordingly. Getting angry during that process will put you on tilt. That's when you're so upset with the game and the situations that you stop using your head entirely. Tilted players lose, fact. It's a great indicator, as well. If you're playing someone, and you manage to tilt them, you'll probably when. It's all a mind ****.

That's something I can't help you with. My suggestion is to play singles only for awhile. Do online or practice until the single battle is the one that feels normal. You have to break all the bad habits you've picked up when using supports. You lose that crutch, basically. You have to learn to adapt and adjust to the particular situation. The only way to accomplish that is to play. A lot. As much as possible. Once you've broken the bad habits, and instigated the good ones, you'll start getting better subconsciously, without truly noticing. It doesn't happen over night. It is very gradual process, so it's difficult to tell what progress you are making. Remember, everybody else started in the exact as,e place you are. You have just as much potential as the next guy. You just need to play. Better players. Find people on this forum with skill, willing to put you through the motions. I wish I could, but my house was robbed last week. No PS3 now.

Everybody is different, mate. Even if it's very slightly. It does matter. You need to fight the way you feel best. The one that's more comfortable to you, and less forum. The idea isn't to try to become a clean of a good player. It's just the best way to fairly assess yourself. It makes it easier to acknowledge whatever shortcomings you may have. Not everything will make sense, either. In this scenarios, you think until you understand it. Assuming your test ring partner is very good, of course. There's probably a reason for the things they do differently. Figure out what those things are, and adjust.

What characters do you main? Depending on your answer I may be able to give a few pointers. I am a lot better a singles then I am at team battles.

As for what everyone else is saying I 100% agree practice makes perfect.

70% of time I play with Minato. However I also play with Mifune, Sasuke (Kirin) and sometimes BM Naruto

Well it turns out I use none of those characters. Only advice I can give is to learn what each characters strengths and weaknesses are. I use Oro and I never combo, comboing with him is suicide.

For some reason I'm really good at singles, yet I barely do them. I could say be very aggressive/offensive, since you can't afford to play defensive. It's all about draining the enemy's sub bars and getting a nice combo on them. Although people will awaken more since there aren't any supports to begin with, so consider it if you're in a pinch.
