Minato has no move to stretch and reach Deidara like sasuke did.

He kinda does, His kunai have alot more range that sasuke has.

He could Jump, Summon gamabunta and use him and a surface to jump from to get extra height (like sasuke did with his sword) and throw a bunch of kunai, only one needs to Land anywhere on Deidara's flying clay bird and it could be over in a matter of seconds.

Because gamabunta is so huge/tell, There is no why he could fly out of range in time.

The fact that Deidara lost to 3T Sasuke is completely irrelevant, so stop the pointless posts about that. If you guys havent realized yet, fights in Naruto are decided by match up. In this case, its a bad one for Minato. Deidara takes it in most scenarios

If Deidara starts on the ground Minato can win but if he is in the air Deidara wins, Minato has no long distance jutsu or anything to reach Deidara and I agree with most of the points.

Yes, this is true, but I will still stick to my OP, his kunai aren't catching up to Deidara, regardless of how close he is when he throws it.

Also, he has no counter for C0, C3 and C4.

Minato can throw like 20 kunai in diffrent directions in the air and teleport a random one then again Repeatedly until hes close enuff to do something like tag him or his owl

well, that's cool, but there is a 78 percent than minato would win. don't forget his ftg, he does not need a kunai to transport, in the air all he need is just put a seal on him and whether deidara is in hell he will get him for sure

Lets not start throwing abilities around that we havent seen yet. Besides, Deidara is capable of releasing several bombs at once. Those bombs are more than capable of destroying a marked kunai

And now you gonna say "Well Deidara can see kunais flying" well let me say this.. Minato has always a hidden kunai or tag somewhere an if he dont have, he make it. Bee, Obito, etc etc... Cmon this dude analyzed kamui in few seconds and some says that is one of the most op skill you can have in NV.

Yes, this is true, but I will still stick to my OP, his kunai aren't catching up to Deidara, regardless of how close he is when he throws it.

Of course they will catch up with him.

If a chidori spear can hit his clay bird, Kunai can.

Makes sense....especially once you notice Minato has no levitating jutsu (like Gaara's sand) or anything any jutsu that can make him fly (like Sasuke's wings using the Curse Mark).

Gamabunta won't be that much of a help cuz it will just be a large target too easy to attack.

Minato's only defense against C4 Garuda will be to teleport it to another location before it explodes and his only play against Deidara once he is in flight would be to use stealth and aversive tactics to stay out of sight and reach.

Ultimately....the fight will be highly tactical and may even draw out for days since Minato would wait for Deidara to tire out from excessive usage of his chakra in flying the damn bird and wasting clay bombs as he tries to blow Minato out of potential hiding spots

Minato beats Deidara. ESPECIALLY since Minato is fast as hell.
Minato is able to dodge the explosive projectiles, C4's and is faster than Deidara. Minato just stomps.

2. It wasnt even a fight. If they fought for real then Minato would obviously lose - wood, controlling the gedo mazo, fire techniques, kyuubi and it goes on.

Shoot I was going to say this, but you beat me to the punch. Yea I agree with everything you said.
The nano's will be the key to victory. If he can get it off Diedara will most likely win.

I like Deidara.. but I don't think he can beat Minato because Minato is way too fast for his clay bombs BR0
