I got some technical issues and some problems IRL currently so I might not be able to reply 'swiftly', but I should be able to do so adequately. Hope you don't mind o-o
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Hesitation could be the cost of your own demise...
The basic rule of battle rang shrilly through my mind, as I watched the giant man in front of me muddle-headedly figuring out the best course of action against me. I chuckled involuntarily, staring at Elfman, well aware that he was considering whether to get close, or keep his distance.
Making an informed decision was good, but too much contemplation in a battle could cost your life - A battle that decided your life or death, where your opponent would never allow you the time to weigh the odds so carefully, in order to live and survive.
My eyes were fixated upon the man's body, anticipating his every move. Apparently, he made up his mind, for his arms quickly raised and performed a single Tiger hand seal.
It was common knowledge to a ninja, really. The Tiger seal was closely affiliated with the element of Fire, and there was no doubt in my mind that one might be sent at me. Moments later, Elfman expelled the first of his 3 fireballs, each aimed at different trajectories.
As the first signs of a fireball started to appear, my instinctive reactions and reflexes told me to form a shield.
The only question remaining was, what shield?
The first thing I thought of was to rely on my natural abilities: Bones.
It seemed a logical course of action, yet not so at the same time. After all, fire, at an adequately hot temperature, would overpower my bones. However, I continued.
From my peripheral vision, I could see two fireballs arcing towards me from the sides, and another, from above.
None,
none, were in my direct trajectory. Certainly, the fireballs looked solid, and might carry some impact, but it was nothing menacing to me if they took a longer time to hit me.
Using my bone manipulation skill, I formed a drill of steel-hard bones on my right arm, a perfunctory shield and weapon, which I hold at the height of my head, encompassing my right forearm.
As I form the bone weapon, I take several steps forwards, towards Elfman, smirking as I did so.
In my motion, as my bone weapon finished its formation, the fireballs would be half way towards me, or so, anyways.
I could clearly see a kunai fizzing through the air, an explosive tag attached, flying directly towards me. I also took note of your movement, and the fact you started moving towards my right.
Swiftly, I released a burst of wind from the soles of my feet, whilst in motion, propelling me forwards, towards you and you projected position for the next few moments. The wind is released in such an explosive manner, that it seemingly blasted me forwards suddenly, in a motion blur which resembled teleportation.
The bald man blasts his way forward at the speed of sound at 1 o'clock, moving far out of the fireballs reach, and advancing menacingly on Elfman. At the same time, I kept my position, and posture, of having my bone drill on my right hand, positioned at my head level.
Accelerating at insane speeds, within a moment, my pre-positioned drill of bones pierces into the upper left column of your chest, aka, your heart, killing you, as my body slams into with much force from my speed earlier. My movement completely enables me to dodge the fireballs, who crash into my previous location, while I speed past and stab you before you can perform your Earth technique.
My movement, as well, is not traceable by the naked eye.
The very bones on my forearm was thrust into your heart area, leaving but a cavity behind. My arm was soaked in blood, and it trickled and dripped, tainting the green grass into a bloody shade of maroon. Yet, as I stabbed you, I felt an unexplainable feeling of joy, and a tingling sensation in my body. The sight of blood...
