Madara's True Motives/Intentions/Goals

What are Madara's true motives? Because it's very clear now that he doesn't share the same goals as Nagato. Discuss what you voted and why! If you think his goal is something else, explain it.

I believe that he has many intersecting motives. He wants revenge, while at the same time he wants power. It's still not clear whether he wants his old power back as in EMS, if he wants the kyubi back, or if he wants to attain a greater power. And what might he use that power for, to take over the world of course.

I have read this theory however it is just a theory. I ask this question based on the info we have gathered untill now.

den d question cannot be answered. Manga is not giving us full fledged information. there are some loopholes in manga, which all of us trying to fill in with our imagination by taking clues in manga and some mythology.

I think u r right. Madara's intentions are diffrent from nagato.
But we can only predict or speculate those objectives. Lets speculate,

1)from what itachi said dat "madara is just a pathetic shell of his former self"
dat is somewhat similar to situation of 'voldemort' from Harry Potter series.

i)So madara, first will want to complete himself by some ways, by taking
over body of someone else(uchiha sasuke seems viable option).
ii)He wants to rejuvanate his old body by using all d beasts and use their
power for self.

2)We don't have much info on madara. regarding his behavior. We don't know
anything about him, so can't predict what he wants to do with beasts.
So we can say, on the basis of info we have regarding "uchihas". He is
hungry for more power. He has very advanced time-space ninjutsu, which
according to legend were speciality of 'Sojoba-tengu'. So we can connect
madara's intentions to revive tengu and attain his powers.

Well dats all i can predict/speculate. But as you said, these are just theories/speculations, It is not necessary to be true. What u all think....

I agree with you that all this is speculation based on incomplete data. But we do know Madara ordered Nagato to begin collecting the tailed beasts. Also, the collected tailed beasts' power can be used as a WMD.

What we don't know is why Madara really wants the tailed beasts. Maybe he wants the weapon or maybe some other reason. If he wants the weapon, he probably wants to use it. His target can't be Konoha, since Pain already took it off the map.

Personally, I think a bigger plot is about to unfold.... He's trying to rule the world!!! And whatever happened to the "Killerbee"?

Kirabi tricked Sasuke and them and then sort of went on a vacation. He'll probably be making an appearance in the near future, especially with the Raikage sending the team to Konoha to talk about Sasuke and also since he wants to have a meeting with the 5 kages to discuss that Akatsuki. Which would be interesting considering Madara/Tobi is the Mizukage.
