Well, Sakura started off as a helpless fangirl who seemed weak and girly. Instead of staying that way, she grew stronger. She could have sat and cried, but she approached Tsunade and made herself a worthwhile kunochi. But Melanee, explain me what character development she went through, I just see a regressed character, she was confident on killing Sasuke and end everything even If Naruto hated her for it, but then when she was almost killed by him on two ocassions after failing to kill him the panel where she said ''I will believe in them'' happened, and know I don't see her having any objectives.
She would always think Sasuke was the best and insult Naruto, now she was able to glare at Sasuke and defend Naruto when they faced off.
Sakura was selfish, thinking only of herself, now she heals people, and willingly on more than one occasion sacrificed herself for others.
As for her feelings for Sasuke, it's not different than Ino thinking of him during the Juubi fight. They both centered their lives around him, and while Ino cried for him, Sakura decided to kill him. Yes, she lied to Naruto, but not to hurt him, to stop him for the suffering she was causing. She went about that wrong however.
Sakura is not after Sasuke the same way she was as a girl, she wants to save him and when she thought death was the way, she chose it. Both her and Naruto refuse to let him go though, not just her.
All and all, she is nothing like she once was, and though she hasn't had panel time lately, she has still developed immensely.
As I said before though, haters will not see those things and only fault her for her mistakes.
