Has Sasuke surpassed Itachi?

With Tsukoyomi, Itachi can disrupt Sasuke's chakra over and over, causing Susano'o to collapse continuously, giving Itachi the opportunity to get within close quarters. We all know Itachi was a better fighter in taijutsu.



Susano'o's perfect defence doesn't include being able to counter ocular genjutsu. Itachi only needs eye contact. Also, what we've seen from Kakashi vs Itachi was that Itachi doesn't even need Eye contact. He can use other objects with enough lust/shine to it to reflect the genjutsu.

He's still stronger than Itachi.Itachi is smarter but that doesn't change the fact that Sasuke is overall more stronger than Itachi, the kid has his eyes ffs.

Did you not read the comment you replied to? Itachi's sharingan does not give Sasuke better abilities in speed, strength and intelligence. Only thing upgraded are Susano'o, Tsukoyomi and Ameterasu. We all have seen that Itachi is a pro at finding weaknesses in jutsus. To top it off, he can use those 3 meaning he knows the ins and outs to those jutsus all to well. Sasuke still knows very little on Izanami and doesn't even know how to perform most top of the line genjutsus.

I know it will work. Look at Itachi and Sasuke vs Kabuto. Sasuke's brute strength couldn't do anything to Kabuto. Itachi's genjutsu was able to stop Kabuto and Kabuto even sealed off his eyes to prevent that. Like I said like 6 times now, Itachi's genjutsu is on a completely different level from most Uchihas.

in my opinion sasuke wont ever surpass itach only because of his immaturity. rushing in to fight the five kage was stupid and if it werent from obito karen juugo and suijetsu he would have died many times over. he doesnt have that calm cool collective mentality that would allow him to solo any oppenent like itachi

Sasuke already countered Itachi's strongest Genjutsu with a 3-Tomoe Sharingan. Now he has EMS so Genjutsu is a non factor in this fight.

That was a speacial genjutsu that can only be used for a certain occasion that genjutsu would not work on sasuke...his tsukiyomi would not work on kabuto thoe nor will it work on Sasuke,sasuke eyes are to strong for that now.

with only 3 tomoe he wouldn t break ysukuyomi, but sasuke enhanced the eyes with curse mark and made the eyes stronger. with EMS is obvious that tsukuyomi won t work.
itachi is more efficient against other people than uchihas, but against MS uchiha he will lose the advantage because his most powerfull ability will be useless and his chakra pool is way lower to spam amaterasu and susanoo.

Maybe now you will realise how stupid you look. It was stated that Itachi wasn't even trying. He purposely allowed Sasuke to win in every battle. His goal wasn't to kill Sasuke, it was to exhausts Sasuke's strength to force Orochimaru out so Itachi can remove the curse seal.

That was a speacial genjutsu that can only be used for a certain occasion that genjutsu would not work on sasuke...his tsukiyomi would not work on kabuto thoe nor will it work on Sasuke,sasuke eyes are to strong for that now.

Sasuke is bent on destruction of all those who brought harm to the Uchiha clan. Izanami would work perfectly for Sasuke. Until Sasuke comes to terms that what was done had to be done, then he can never escape Izanami.
