So I'm rather new to this idea of awakening whenever you please, but can someone tell me how to know when you can awaken? also can you awaken for like one jutsu and then turn it off again? what are some good awakening strategies? BTW I like to play as Mifune so if you could specify it towards him that would be great! :D

You will know that a person can awaken when the awakening lamp appears next to the chakra gauge. if you want to know if its an adversity or an instant awaken, then look to see if the lamp is next the the chakra gauge at the very beginning of the match.

Yes it can be used momentarily to use a specific jutsu unique to the awakening and turn it off again. It is done very often with characters like Nagato, War Tobi, and Hinata, who have specific long-range and powerful jutsus, and doing so is very efficient when you want to break the guard of a defensive player or try to attack from a distance.

One of the strategies that people use instant awakening for is to get dash priority so that they can begin wasting their opponents subs first. Another use for them is to lengthen combos against a guarding player so thet their guard will break much more easily, especially since awakwning increases guard breaking power. They are also used when in the middle of a combo to deal more damage against an opponent when their subs have been to depleted to maximize damage.

There is actually one unique strategy that I, and only a scarce number of people that I have told, know about that uses the awakening to actually combo cancel into attacking an opponent who just subbed out of an attack, without actually dash cancelling since awakening actually restarts the combo itself and causes them to automatically turn to attack and overwhelm the opponent with their stronger blows.

Here are some tips for using mifune's awakening:

-Mifune has great speed, a long reach with his sword, and decent combo length, so it makes him ideal for a first strike and guard crushing.

-His awakening is like most generic awakenings, but his combo length allows him to crush any guarding opponent, so use his combos to your advantage when in awakening and refrain from using your jutsu until the last moment.

-His awakening jutsu is a 360 attack that allows him to attack through an opponents guard to the opponent and knock them down for a second as the jutsu name, Absolute Inscription, implies. However, it takes a second to charge up, so only use it when you know the opponent is on the defense to ensure that the attack will hit so that the only way out will be for them to waste a sub.

You are so awesome man, Thanks a ton! I just need to know how to become automatic because I'll usually be playing and I'm like "Oh! I can use awakening and use haphazardly, but thanks a lot you're a NUNS3 Genius ^_^
