[Nagato's Rinnegan] Something I don't understand..

If so, how the hell did Madara give him the Rinnegan without him knowing?

He said he awakened it when his parents died?

Do Uzumaki's even have Rinnegan or no?

Was Madara / Tobi lying about giving him the Rinnegan possibly even if he said it?!

No, Madara did give it to him, whether he fully awakened its' powers or not is a moot point, it is strange however that it took Akatsuki more than 15+ years before commencing the Eye of the Moon Plan, my suspicion is the Gedo Mazou and the 9 phantom dragons needed for Bijuu extraction was not ready yet until Shippuden's timeline.

As far as the theory of Darwin is irrelevant, Madara might put little boy Nagato into some powerful Genjutsu and having White Zetsu as its anaesthetist.

The Rinnegan is awakened with Senju+Uchiha DNA because the Rinnegan most likely came from the Juubi being sealed inside Rikudou, and since Rikudou's yin and yang were evenly split into his two sons, then it only logically follows that by combining them in one body the Rinnegan could be awakened, even if we assume Rikudou was an Uzumaki, his extended relatives couldn't awaken the Rinnegan because they never had the Juubi sealed inside them nor their ancestors.

Actually i was meant to say KA but if Madara and/or Tobi was lying, then it was a beautiful lie however Nagato still got its rinnegan. Bear in mind, rinnegan is an evolution from sharingan eyes thus what nagato gained was actually a finished product.

He's part of a clan based on genjutsu, and second they wouldn't know who to recruit if they had not implanted the eye...

Ok. So why did Nagato nearly starve? Wouldn't Madara make sure he would survive if it was all this long plan to revive Madara?

He nearly starved when he had his dog. And he nearly died with Hanzo. Tobi / Madara did nothing to help him.
