• aside from Aaroniero Arruruerie, the remaining Espada are all at least of the Adjuchas level
• their appearances are undeniably humanoid, which are instrumental in identifying Vasto Lorde
• Espada 1 to 4 were prohibited from releasing their zanpakutō whilst in Las Noches
• the previous point denotes a significant difference in power levels, hence the restriction

The pictures presented of them were before they became arrancars, hence the emphasis on size.
We know that say, Grimmjow and his crew, are indeed of the Adjuchas class. Take a good look:

Notice the lack of small and humanoid characteristics? The other hollows mentioned earlier look nothing like them.

Oh, and there's no concrete evidence that Masaki is the hollow. After all, she killed it...

We still don't know much about Vasto's, the Arrancars were said to be Vasto's Aizen changed to Arrancars..most were anyway..

As far as "Natural" Vastos..from what we have seen about Ichigos Hollow it can be easily assumed that his hollow is a Vasto Level Hollow

Lets take a look at a few things

Ichigos Hollow first comes about and is very talkative in the fight vs Byu..

Later on he just goes into "blind rage mode"..talking stops..except the inner world..

His trip to Vizards grants him some control..

Ulqu fight he gets destroyed...technically dies..and enters a new hollow form (which we are now finding out about in latest..hopefully)

New Form is insanely powerful..

After this he heads back to the main fight, blah blah blah..inner world is full of water(this is right after the "New Form" mind you)

Now we find out it likes rain..the Hollow world is a desert..hint hint..

I believe the "Natural" Vastos are more like Menos..they have no real train of thought anymore..and there power is so immense..

Barrigan may have been a Vasto but I don't think so..I think the reason he was "never challenged" was because Vastos don't think..they just do what they want (Like the Ulqu fight..and whats apparently being depicted in latest..)

It's obviously strong, but there's more to identifying the classes than what your getting at.

All Arancar with Numbers are Vasto Lordes. Numbers in Decending order 10 (weakest) to 0 (strongest). They are the 11 strongest of all the hollows in Los Noches / Hueco Mundo.

I'd certainly agree with Espadas 1-3 being of the Vasto Lorde class, the only difference is that Ulquiorra is likely to be one.

The problem here is people are under the impression that all Arrancar are Vasto Lordes just because they gain a humanoid appearance. This isn't true.

ANY Hollow that removes it's mask becomes an "Arrancar". Even Grand Fisher was an Arrancar.

Vasto Lorde are the Hollows who've evolved up the Hollow chain beyond an Adjuchas. They are humanoid before gaining a zanpaktou.

There's reasoning/evidence to believe that some are in fact of the Vasto Lorde class. You've got nothing to say otherwise.
