First of all I'd like to say I have been thinking about registering here for over a year and have been reading all of you peoples Discussions, Predictions, and yes arguments but this is my first post.
Sorry for lenghtyness and other things you will be sure to complain about.
So I was re-reading a few chapters back when they started the Madara/Hashirama flashbacks and it got me thinking. I'l start by explaining what led up to this theory:
How did Madara become so corrupted and end up betraying not only Hashirama, his best friend but the village he strived for? I noticed a few things, When Hashirama said, "I thought we were best friends." and "How can you do this to the village and our brothers" Madara said "How dare you." Now looking back on it from a few chapters foward I don't think Madara would betray everything so easily. And I doubt Hashirama becoming 1st Hokage had anything to do with it or at least very little, maybe a rift but nothing more. Hashirama even said Madara loved his brothers more than anything. And I think it was confirmed Izuna GAVE Madara his eyes to prevent Madara from going blind. But Remember how it was said Izuna died "Honorably in battle." I think he really did die honorably in battle. I mean hes Madara's brother and probaly equivalent in strength to Tobirama right? Even blind i bet hes a force to be reckoned with.
So to sum it all up and explain my theory further, What if Hashirama WAS inderectly the cause to Izunas death. This would explain why Madara hates him so much right? I think Maybe Hashirama sent Izuna on a mission even though he was blind, but maybe ordered some other shinobi to accompany him like say Tobirama or something. Maybe back then there were shinobi outside of Uchiha and Senju who were insanely powerful as well. Izuna and his gang happen to run into these shinobi and they actually are no match. Izuna tells everyone he will create an opportunity for them to escape and sacrifices himself honorably in battle. But knowing how Uchiha don't handle loss well or properly, even with the knowledge of how Izuna died from a trusted source like Tobirama, Madara blamed Hashirama for his brothers death hence the "How dare you." when Hashirama mentioned their brothers. Maybe since Tobirama and Izuna had a possible rivalry Madara didnt even trust Hashirama.
