Why is Minato The Fatest and Not Obito?

They always say Minato was the fastest ninja alive but he's simply teleporting not even actually running. Still people consider him the fastest due to his space time jutsu but then why don't they consider obito? They both use space time ninjutsu and Minato admitted that his is inferior to Obito?

Thus it makes me believe that the Raikages are truly the fastest in the world with Naruto coming in second or maybe Gui with the gates. What do you guys think?

Minato meant that Obitos S/T tech was better simply because it had his body in a different dimension while still visible in the normal one.

Even if so space time isn't actual speed....so why isn't obito ever considered as the fastest or fast

i dont know y kishi made minato say that, when 2 sec after that he owned obito with FTG lvl 2 xD. and if raikage was faster he wouldve landed the hit. end of story lol

Minato is faster than obito because FTG is instant. Speed is determined by how quickly you can get from point A to point B. Obito is fast (probably #2) but minato is just faster, thats his trait

Minato has fastest reflex, then naruto. Obito was not able to react to minatos action and obito teleporting is better not due to speed but because it requires no seal or tag, and it can take you any where without the later

Obito doesn't use his teleportation technique as Minato did.Kamui is a slower teleportation technique simply because it requires two moves.Obito has to go in kamui dimension and then go out in the place he wants to.
And Obito use kamui as an intangibility form.He doesn't actually moves.
Minato used his S/T to move from place to place.Plus Minato had amazing reflects which made him the faster.Obito hasn't demonstrated such sharp reflects.

Minato really isn't fastest. To use his superior speed, he has to freakin' throw the kunai. Sure, it can reach it's location in about 1 sec. But in that same time, Might Guy, Raikage, Naruto, etc. can get to the same point and kill several. Minato is overrated, and that's no the only way.

PS, I'm not hating on Minaot. He's one of my favorites in the series; I just think people put him above where he is.

He can also teleport to locations simply by touching them! he did that to killerbee in flashback and the random earth style ninja in kakashi Chronicles

I do, He fended off KM naruto, kakashi and gai simultaneously. IMO he's #2 in terms of speed

dude...are you serious? Speed is determined by how quickly you can get from point A to point B. Minato's FTG (regardless if he has to throw a kunai -_-) Goes from point A-B in the fastest time we've ever seen in naruto, which means that he is the fastest
