Overall, this is a pretty good prediction, but I can't imagine Yahiko saying "avenge me" before his death. If something like that actually happened, then it would be Yahiko's fault for turning Nagato into the warmonger he is. Besides, the reason Nagato is doing all this is to prevent wars from happening; if he actually avenged Yahiko, then he would be contradicting his earlier statement about "the chain of hatred." I don't know about you, but I just can't see Yahiko saying something like that.

Thnx, but only reason I gave yahiko that line is because in earlier chapter , Tendou said it was "Yahikos desire".

it seem like everybody is dissapointed about ever chapters that come out. either it is too short or not enought fighting for u guys. i think part of that is because of the spoilers that came out ahead which gave us an idea of what will happen.. other than that i dont think nothing wrong with a chapter of talking. it's a story and talking will help us understand the stories fighting is cool but it wont help u understand everything ^.^. naruto is awesome !

I want to see full power Naruto. I think Naruto will put down Nagato in 4 mangas.
I hope nagatos friend whos body is God realm pain. gets killed just after there 3 year training. They killed one ninja just before Jiyara left. Maybe his buddy killed nagatos buddy. maybe nagato blames Jiyara because of the 3 years of training. Nagato says" he left later that night we got attached and ?NAME?got killed. we needed more training. then naruto says" I only got 2 1/2 years of training because I almost killed the pervert in 4tails. but we only trained for 3 years" then BAM naruto blasts Nagato out of that crappy chair using demon fox sage mode.

Enh, i think the chapters are fine, but the only reason people are complaining about it is that its too much of the same thing. Its all Naruto and Pain. We're all waiting and wanting to see the other characters more (Sasuke, Tobi, Kakashi) and know whats happening with them since we havn't seen them for a while. So we fly through the chapters hoping to see something of the other characters (making each chapter feel short) but when we don't see anything of them it makes the whole arc feel too long.

The Chapters are great! We are not seeing anything of the other characters because the actual story-time covering this whole pain invasion arc is maybe 3-6 hours or maybe shorter. So, I don't see why Kishi has to show us the status of other characters yet.And it is good for the suspense in the story, that way I enjoy the story more.
I think this arc will end in 6 more chapters minimum.

This arc can only be resolved correctly and satisfyingly in one way.
1) Pain must die. And not by Naruto's hand either. Kishi has made it quite clear that revenge will not (re)solve anything. Including this arc. Therefore, his death is inevitable. However... Kishi has gone against the grain on many occasions and he is fearless in his writing. And he could let Pain off the hook. I just think that will be the case here. The only possible alternative I see is going into a dreadful rescue arc that no one is "demanding". Those are my thoughts.
Also, when Hinata and Naruto see each other; Sparks will fly. And there will undoubtably be a close-up, passionate kiss. In front of everyone(Sakura too) to finally seal the deal-that they have strong feelings for one another. Hey we all saw the woman, Hinata put her life and love on line for Naruto and then the explosion of emotions that followed from Naruto. That's how great love stories begin. Plus, it only makes since, since it would be another step to creating the next generation of Leaf ninja and adding more flames to the Fire.:naruto:

Regarding Pain...he pretty much has to die. I mean..really..have you seen him lol. He's been coughin up blood for a few chapters now, so he's either goin to die from using too much chakra, or maybe Tobi will kill him, but im fairly certain his end is near.

lol agreed anyways iwas sorta mad about this chapter because nothing really happen and there no clue on when this hole talk deal will end (guess what really makes me mad is the 7 day waits between ch. wish this would go back to 25 pages like it use to do a long time ago!!!) but here's my guesses next chapter will show nagato killing those two ninja's then he will say the 2nd and last "pain" of his THAT will take up two chapters then we must wait for what happens next after hes done talking which will be the answer from naruto and that blah blah blah stuff nagato either lives or dies well i have to say we got over 6 more chapters of this so....about 6 more weeks!!!!!!!

I also noticed the eyes go from Fox+Sage to normal --- But that does not mean that it forced him back to normal and he didn't control it...

If you look at the whole theme of this talking section, Naruto is calming himself down, he is talking not fighting and he is trying with all of his might to NOT kill Nagato...

So I think he purposefully stopped Sage+Fox on his own.

EDIT: Yeah I just went back and checked...the eyes changed AFTER he stopped himself from punching Nagato meaning he is really really trying to calm himself down to talk and figure out what Jiraiya and 4th want him to do about the cycle of pain in the ninja world

i dont disagree with you that that is a possibility but we can not be so certain because in manga world we do not get to see every minute of every day, we do not know what has happened between god realm dead and arriving to nagato's tree....people in last weeks thread speculated he just sat down or held still for a minute or two, or that he had some natural energy left over, OR maybe you are right that he is getting it while moving...they would probably tell us if he was using clones, but they probably wouldnt tell us if he just suddenly stopped for 1 min to gather natural energy between important scenes

i know exactly what you're saying. he keeps flipping in and out of sage mode like nothing. and now he's going into fox/sage mode. if he has the ability to control the full power of the kyuubi while in sage mode. i think THEN he'll surpass yondaime.

I knew Naru/Hina lovers were going to show up in the thread

I thought it was pretty good this week because it started us in the right direction to finish this arc up

1. The reason I think Naruto didnt kill Nagato is that he had to verify what Yondaime said to him and do his own investigating to what exactly is happening and happened

2. Were going to find out how Nagato became to know Marada. Kwoning Marada he was probably waiting for his chance to capitalize on his emotion probably when Yahiko died, like when capitalized on Sasuke after Itachi (who thought he would be referenced at time like this) died

3. Naruto going to reveal to Nagato that he is a puppet to Marada

Its important to notice that after naruto had the Kyuubi Sage eyes and calmed down, he was no longer in sage mode.....so that could mean that he can't combine them, and when he went a bit kyuubi, it disrupted his sage mode and forced him back to normal.

I guess Naruto did not combine them, but that Kyubii was taking over to confront Nagato.

Other than naruto's eyes I was a bit disappointed. I know everyone complains about the filler episodes of the anime, but if they followed the manga straight they would be waiting for a least a month for enough stuff in the manga to happen to make on whole episode. yes the manga is 17 pages, but in real time thats about 2 mins at most. I dont mean to complain, not every issue is going to be awesome, I get that.

It was Yahiko's desire to have peace, so maybe Nagato thought that power was the only way to achieve peace. If Naruto finds out god realm Pain is actually Nagato's deceased friend, he's going to be pretty angry. Well, I suppose only the manga can really tell us what's going to happen.

1.nagato first time learning to control dead bodies(his parents)
2.madara promising power for nagato to have peace
3.naruto *surprised look* hearing something about madara
4.shikamaru gets captured and killed
5.danzou blaming someone for the destroyed village<--(most likely in further chapters)

1. This will probably be shown somewhere in the next chapter. Nagato will have learned how to control his parents' bodies for the first time, as did Sasori with his parents.

2. This probably happened as well; Madara is known to be quite the manipulative person.

3. Since his death is supposedly near, I think Nagato will reveal some key facts about Akatsuki, so yes, this is likely to happen as well.

4. I don't think this will happen at all. Shikamaru doesn't have a single thing to do with the talk between Naruto and Nagato, and now that Nagato has no more Pain bodies, killing Shikamaru would be impossible, unless Konan did it for him, but that seems highly unlikely.

5. This, I think, will definitely happen. When the remaining villagers find out that Danzo was hiding underground while Pain was ravaging Konoha, I'm sure there are going to be some very angry villagers. Being the cold-blooded person he is, Danzo will blame Naruto for the whole mess, stating that he was the reason Pain came to Konoha in the first place.

seeming he can be mad and have the fox coat around his body wit no tails....
more surprisingly is narutos ability to resist the fox... i guess this was comin sooner or later tho... after the resistance in the sora arc... and right after minato... jus gone get easier....
