Remember that edo that could throw kunai/giant shuriken such that he imprints his target with a form of magnetism?

His ability is way too good! The Magneto of the Narutoverse! Sadly, he had very low chakra and control of his ability and was killed so easily..

Imagine if someone with real skill had the same ability... he could Bansho Tenin meteorites too, or with enough magnetic chakra released (like when Goku goes SSJ) he could technically make an anti gravity field around him to protect him from projectiles and even fly!

Thoughts?

Him and tenten should be best friends.

Could he pull the metal rods out of the Six Paths of Pain? WAIT WHAT. MAGNETO COULD SOLO THE SIX PATHS OF PAIN OH MY GOD
He could use TenTen but she just summons her weapons from scrolls. Magneto would just summon his own weapons.

And yeah, assuming those chakra rods are affected by magnetic fields, Magneto would solo the six paths.

yes he could control gold dust and stuff to making him stronger then gaara
Actually, unless it has magnetic metals mixed in with the gold Magneto wouldn't be able to. Pure gold is not magnetic.

But yeah, you see what I mean by "if a skilled shinobi had his ability" :)

The guy is cool but he's a bit of a one trick pony. It'd be cool to see Shikamaru fight him with all the shadow possession smarts and all. He'd work something out.
Shikamaru would destroy the edo guy. Kishi made him so bad I don't even recall who took him out.

not all metal is magnetic. but it is possible he could, as he apparently can magnetize people....but wait, the paths are dead bodies, so they dont have a slight magnetic field...

srry, he not that op.

(to op...there are other magnet users, the 2nd(i think it was the 2nd) kaze kage had magnet release(he used iron sand)

If he can control such minute amounts then Narutoverse is screwed. Magneto > all

Even X-Men's Magneto can't do that. The only reason he was able to escape from that plastic jail (in the movies) is because the guard's blood was way oversaturated with iron.

It doesn't matter if an initial object is not magnetic. Magnetism can be transferred as long as the receiving object (in this case a dead body) has the property of being magnetized. Even plastics can be magnetized, although this is a relatively new type of magnet that has different properties than the typical permanent or electric magnet.

Evidently, in Narutoverse, gold is magnetic:

lol... I never noticed that. Well, although gold is not magnetic it is not to say it cannot be magnetized. Perhaps Kishi took that into account, perhaps he had no idea and I'm overthinking things. Either way, jiton release makes it more believable.

edit: I think all Kazekage have a form of jiton, even Gaara. It would explain how one had iron sand element, how Gaara manipulates regular sand (sand is ground up rock by wind/water erosion, so it's possible that the sand contains magnetic particles), and somewhat explains the gold release (let's assume it's not pure).
