Kurapika waited a few seconds for the man to make a move, but for a few seconds was all he was willing to wait. He was in a hurry after all. It suddenly occurred to Kurapika, what if the man didn't notice him? What if he wasn't a shinobi to begin with? But why is he smiling and standing in the middle of the forest?
To Kurapika, all these questions storming his mind only meant one thing; Danger. So he slowly revealed himself further by moving from behind the tree, but with his movement the man started to whirl. Quickly, Kurapika rose his arms to horizontally to cover his vital organs as he took on a cautious pose while also shouting a demand for answers, saying "Who are you, and what do you want with me?".
Hawke hadn't actually expected someone to
be there, so when his whirl brought a stranger into his field of vision, Hawke's immediate response was a surprised grunt. One of the very uncharming and unintelligent ones. The guy in front of him had his arms brought up in a defensive posture and seemed to
radiate a demand for answers. It was all Hawke could do not to blink in surprise, and the Inuzuka almost missed the stranger's storm of questions.
"I, eh," it had been a while since Hawke's composure had been so thoroughly stripped from him. "Never mind me, stranger, I'm just a businessman on a business trip. Tachibana's the name." Hawke left the request for the stranger's name unspoken. It simply wouldn't
do to provoke a guy that tense.
