i too cant understand why people thought this chapter was short or why people think that the pain series need to end like right now... people need to understand every talk naruto has had with enemies or friends has led up to where we are now and most likely the talk between naruto and naguto will lead up to something big also... like perhaps this talk might bring naruto one step closer to peace or give him information on akatski if naguto accepts him... all i know is these chapter are very important cuz there going to lead up to something big
I also noticed the eyes go from Fox+Sage to normal --- But that does not mean that it forced him back to normal and he didn't control it...
If you look at the whole theme of this talking section, Naruto is calming himself down, he is talking not fighting and he is trying with all of his might to NOT kill Nagato...
So I think he purposefully stopped Sage+Fox on his own.
EDIT: Yeah I just went back and checked...the eyes changed AFTER he stopped himself from punching Nagato meaning he is really really trying to calm himself down to talk and figure out what Jiraiya and 4th want him to do about the cycle of pain in the ninja world

Guess we'll wait another week or two to find out. I think Naruto will let him go and Madara may kill him afterwards. Either that or another random ninja from Konoha does it. I don't see Naruto's answer being revenge.
As for the Bijuu and the other Jinnchuriki, I could imagine them making appearances in the newer fighting games too. I mean we saw Minato in games before he got a voice actor. They would make good secret characters too. The 3 Tails Jinnchuriki looks cool.
With Yahiko, if Nagato didn't kill him then (at the minimum) they disagreed about something important. The way Pain referred to Yahiko when Jiraiya asked about him didn't sound like they're close. I bet Yahiko sided with Hanzou or sided against the ideals of the Akatsuki.

The manga was alright. However, I am tired of the Pain and Naruto Saga, I wish they move on to something else, it has become too trite. Also, I think Naruto's new eyes need some more work. The fusion of the sage and kyyubi's eyes looks awkward.

Everyone noticed the eyes change from sage+kyuubi to normal, but this could also mean that he has found a way to activate sage mode at will...possibly using the kyuubi's chakra. thats why the eyes were combined. If you look at the end of 443, when he walks into the paper tree, he doesnt have the eyes outside, but when he walks in, he is in sage mode, then in this chapter, he goes normal when he starts talking to nagato...if you take into consideration that Naruto has the Yin power of the kyuubi, he may have found a way to change it to natural energy at his will so he can activate sage mode whenever he wants....and when he gets angry, then the yang power pours out and thats when you get the mix of sage+kyuubi...just a thought

Well, Chapter 444 is awesome, and yet, disspointing at the same time. We already knew Nagato lost his parents to Kohona ninja, and the fact that they were in shock, and apolgised makes all sympathy go away for little Nagato. We still didn't see how the Rinnegan killed them, or, find out Naruto's answer.
Although, we seem to have yet more evidence of Kakashi being DEAD, as Naruto thought of him in the same light as J-Man, a dead teacher, by Nagato's hands.
We now know Nagato's death is almost cirtain, as Naruto said 'No matter what, I can't forgive you', but he wants to know how such a monster was formed. The fact that Nagato tried such a underhanded attack made Naruto madder, and he needed the Kuyybi's Chakra to heal, hence, Sage-Kuyybi, and pure awesomeness. We need to find out it's powers, and what the significance of it is. Especially seeing as there is now a different type of chakra in the delecate balance, the massive amounts of the Kuyybi's chakra.
Still, I think in 445, we'll see the end of that story (Unless that is the end of it, we don't see the killings), and the second event will either be the death of Yakido, or, the event which caused the J-Man to see the Rinnegan, as the death of his parents was before he met the J-Man. Then, part 446 would be Naruto's answer, and quite possibly Nagato's death, or if Konan's allegied reason for joning was true (love), Konan will defend Nagato, and a fight/discussion will start between them, over how she can defend a monster like him. If a discussion does happen, we'll likly find out about Konan, and more of Nagato. I just don't see Konan letting Nagato be killed, unless he demands it from Natuto, or kills himself.

every1 is talkin abt the chapters being short.. I think they hav been 17 pages for a while now as some1 has said b4.. its just that the story is moving so slow that it makes the mange chapter look so short.. for example the previous chapter (443), all that really happ was naruto destroyed God relm and he reached where the location of nagato was.. I mean common.. thats so lame n slow.. u cud do that in 1 single page but kishi took like whole chapter.. i think we all r sick of seeing too little and than wait whole damn week..
Plus I don't think Naruto cud use kyuubi to activate sage chakra at will.. I mean he was in sage mode and the reason he went kyuubi mode was because his emotions were running high.. we all hav seen it in past tht whenever he gets too angry or emotional his kyuubi chakra erupts.. so this is wat mite hav happ here.. kyuubi + sage looks so cool.. this mite indicate he cud use sage mode in future to may b control kyuubi chakra.. but than again he calmed down in the end and lost both sage n kyuubi mode.. soo we will hav to wait n c wat happens

I'm pretty sure the second time Nagato will recount feeling pain is when Yahiko died. And as crazy as it may sound, I believe Yahiko was killed by Konoha ninja as well...it's the only explanation for Nagato's fierce hate of Konoha.
That could be probable, cause Madara said that the Kyuubi is purely a force of nature, so possibly he can find a way to convert the Kyuubi chakra to nature chakra...since according to him, its the same thing...in a way...(that is of course if he wasn't lying)

So , naruto torned in kyiubi-sage mode for a short period of time and then became normal .
Does this means that this two modes cant be mixed together , or he lost it because of his feelings, or kishi did some mistake ?

Overall, this is a pretty good prediction, but I can't imagine Yahiko saying "avenge me" before his death. If something like that actually happened, then it would be Yahiko's fault for turning Nagato into the warmonger he is. Besides, the reason Nagato is doing all this is to prevent wars from happening; if he actually avenged Yahiko, then he would be contradicting his earlier statement about "the chain of hatred." I don't know about you, but I just can't see Yahiko saying something like that.

Right now, the chapters feel short because we've been in the "Naruto and Pain" arc for quite a while. First with Pain's invasion of Konoha, then his battle with Naruto, and now the talk between Naruto and Nagato...once we get out of this arc, people won't be complaining about the length of the chapters anymore. I actually found the "Naruto and Pain" arc pretty interesting. There was a lot of action and some shocking revelations, like the Fourth Hokage's appearance in chapter 439, for example. But eventually, we will return to Sasuke and Madara and see what they've been doing while Pain attacked Konoha and fought with Naruto.
