It's been three days since the group got out of the city and are in a place called Dallas,Texas."I was born here."John said."Well at least it's not overrun."Zoey said.Tom,John,Zoey,Charlie,and Ryan went to the city hall.There they found a General commanding 2 platoons.The General said that Dallas was an outpost before you reach Houston which was a safezone,but in between here and there a whole sea of infected."Can't you just drop a bomb on them?"Zoey asked."No because there are still normal people out there."The General said."Do you have an armored car?"Tom asked."Yes.Why?"The General asked."We can use that to drive through the infected."Tom replied.After preparing the armored car the group was ready to leave,but John stayed behind."Let's head out."Ryan said.the team got in the car and headed out.After 30mins.of driving the team found a non-infected person and made the mistake of picking her up.Tom and Ryan didn't want to pick her up,but Charlie was driving so they had no choice.When Zoey got out to pick her up tons of infected got Zoey and bit her."Zoey!"Ryan screamed.Charlie droves off right after Zoey was bitten."You had to stop."Ryan said."Well we could have used her since John stayed behind."Charlie said."Well now we lost another person."Ryan yelled.When the three men reached Houston they saw tons of soldiers and civilians all equipped with a gun of some sort.All three were grateful to be away from the infection."Hey who's out there?" a soldier asked."Are you infected?" he asked, "No we're not infected!" Tom replied. "Alright, move up slowly or we will shoot" the soldier said.Tom, Ryan, and Charlie did what the officer said, but the whole sea of infected started charging at Houston's barricade."Man I knew this would happen if someone drove through them" a said sergeant said as he walked out with a 50 caliber machine gun."The three that are in the car, come out and get inside the barricade" the sergeant ordered. As Tom was stepping out an infected jumped off the car and tried to bite him, but was unsuccessful when Charlie blew his head off with a twelve gauge.The three ran to the barricade before infected bit them."Alright, let's pump 'em full of lead" the sergeant said.After 2 hours of fighting they finally got to rest for a little while."So what time is it?" Charlie asked."It's 3:30 pm." a private replied, "My name's Jim.What's yours?""I'm Charlie""I'm Tom""And I'm Ryan".After the four got acquainted, Jim showed them a secret that only everyone in Houston knew about."This is Skipper" Jim said."You're keeping an infected person here!?" Tom exclaimed."Yup" Jim replied, it seems that whatever clothes the person was wearing when he was infected are the clothes he wears when it's infected" Jim said.Tom looked at Skipper and thought how he wasn't attacking them, then he realized that there was a cage keeping him from attacking.He also looked at what the infected looked like, they had glazed over eyes where the bite mark was, was a huge hole in the skin."Have any of you had military experience?" Jim asked."I have" Tom replied,"Why"."Well we're to clear out the infected that's between us and Dallas" Jim said,"When we get enough military personnel".Suddenly everyone in Dallas could hear people screaming."What was that" a civilian asked."Dunno sounded like someone was screaming or something" another civilian said."It's Skipper, he's gotten free of his cage!!!" Jim yelled.Just then tons of infected just started flooding the city."Uh oh, we're in trouble now" a civilian said as he saw the sea of infected starting to run at the barricade."Crap.We have to fight two sides of infected" Ryan said as he grabbed an AK74 and started shooting at the infected that were coming to the barricade from the outside of the city."Rip 'em to shreds" Tom yelled as he got on a mounted 50 cal....5 hours later....Ryan was out of breath from running away from the infected and therefore tripped."Hey get up before the infected catch up" Tom said, "How do you not get tired?" Ryan asked. "I'm a Navy SEAL on home leave" Tom replied, "Crud, they're here.We gotta go" Tom said.The two finally got to Dallas and fought off the infected."How long did y'all run from them?"A soldier asked."4 hrs. we fought them for 1 hr."Tom replied."huh huh huh hello Ryan,Tom you out here?"Jim yelled"Who's that?"A soldier asked."It's Jim,but he should be infected."Ryan replied.Tom and Ryan went to go get Jim but he was infected so they shot him.After stayin 7 weeks in Dallas they heard a radio broadcast say that Amarillo was a safe zone."We should head there."Ryan said.The two got to Amarillo and said that they heard the radio broadcast and came asap."You people have a good fortified city here."Tom commented."Thanks it's so no infected can get in." a sgt. Major said.
