If for example a fire or wind or water jutsus is made in one tunnels, he follows it and doesnt mean it can be spread in the other tunnels, only if the tunnel is in a tree form and the attack is made from where the tunnels begin. The use can extend the tunneld as he want.

I pull out a map.
As you create shiva i make a plateu rise beneath me.
Then I fill your tunnels and I make a fissure beneath you, Zeus and Shiva, but i make walls separating each.
Then I close the top of the rift and i make spikes pop from the end of the rift and from the walls.
As the last change I make the plateu level with the ground again.
