Well Makarov has stated that current Jura is probably at the same level as Gildarts at some point during the games. You have to remember titles like a wizard saint, is something Gildarts does not care about. In order to part of this order I assume there are meetings, rules and procedures etc etc. but based on what has been shown of Gildarts...there is no way he would even consider even having a 'pretentious title' as Laxus stated in the last chapter just for the sake of it cause he doesnt care for it plus he likes to play by his own rules.

So the saints list is not tainted, it just requires for those given that title to abide by certain standards and rules like any order.

Here's what could happen:
Erza will crush Minerva, erza extremely weak afterward
Gajeel is probably very weak after eating the shadow
Jura will defeat Laxus in a very close match, jura tired
Gray and Juvia will win in a close match too, juvia and Gray will be very tired
but then sting will defeat all those the were left standing.

Hence, Sabertooth will win.
If there will be no friendship and guild crap that will arise this is the most logical outcome.
