Itachi beats Tsunade and Onoki None of them have anything that can hurt Itachi.
Itachi beats Mei and Onoki None of them have anything that can hurt Itachi.
Itachi loses to A and Onoki If Onoki is being carried by A, they can both dodge amaterasu and wear Itachi down but they are still susceptible to genjutsu so it can go either way.
Itachi loses to Gaara and Onoki mid difficulty as Gaara does have some good counters to Itachi's abilities.

An Onoki + Tsunade Jinton destroyed 25 Susanoo clones. Itachi has no intel about their abilities, so most likely he won't start with amaterasu/ tsukuyomi/ susanno. But the Kages know how dangerous can an Uchiha be, so probably they will use their trump card.

Even without Koto, Itachi beats them easily. Yata Mirror is a hard counter to anything they can do, and they can't even let the guy look at them without fear of being toasted. It doesn't help that he'll be able to follow their movements with the sharingan's predictive powers, and is a tactical and fighting genius as well. Indeed, he frequently sees blind spots, or attacks he should not be able to see. Can't see how they take it.

Alot of people seem to think that because Madara fought the 5 Kage, and Madara is stronger than Itachi, it must mean the 5 Kage can beat Itachi... what people don't get is Madara was barely trying most of the fight (not just that he wasn't using his full power, but that he wasn't even frickin taking them seriously). Itachi is the exact opposite (especially in a bloodlusted fight). He will be taking them seriously, and the Kage will be cut to pieces.

Something interesting to consider about Itachi. To this day, we have never seen him go all out in a fight.

He is faster than the Kage, more reactive, better at tactics, he has a tonne of one shot moves they can't do much about (if anything), and he has ways to prevent them from doing anything to him. How is he losing again? When people say they will "take Itachi by surprise" I roll my eyes, since the guy is portrayed in the manga as being virtually prescient.

Sasuke- "Incredible brother, you even hit the blind spot that you couldn't have seen or known was there... wait, how is that even possible?"

Kabuto- "All your senses don't function... how the frick did you block my attack? That doesn't even make sense"

Nagato- "But I had like 10 eyes covering all my blindspots, how did you hit them all without me seeing it?"

That's just what Itachi does. I'm finding it hard to believe he's going to lose in a battle of wits to the frickin Kage.

He went more than all out vs Nagato, he also had the help of Naruto and Bee

He beat Nagato too... if Nagato wasn't an Edo he'd have been killed from the Ameratasu. He got killed again later. Nor did Edo Itachi have Shi Sui's eye (which he would have had in his prime, and which is the main reason he beats Nagato). The fight didn't go on long enough to require Itachi to go "all out" per se, they just won real quick.

Defeat Gaara and Ōnoki?

I hope you know that Gaara isn't immune to genjutsu via 3rd eye, and Gaara also cannot block Amaterasu. (He blocked Enton, which isn't even close to the speed of the actual attack)

I also hope you know Ōnoki's Jinton is countered by Itachi's Yata mirror, and he doesn't have the speed to avoid Amaterasu.

Secondly, Itachi is a mountain range smarter than both of these contestants, which as always is a big help. You seem to hinge on the fact that Kages appreciate how dangerous a Uchiha can be, yet Itachi is arguably the smartest character in the series, and you seem to think he won't appreciate how strong a Kage is?

There are too many ways for Itachi to win; I can't really think of a scenario he can lose vs. these two

If Nagato was controlling himself he could of Preta Path'd the Amaterasu {Kabuto couldn't use Nagato to his potential, as seen when Kabuto didn't even know Nagato was a sensor, there is an argument about this and Nagato's actual defeat; with the casting of Susano'o, but that's not for this thread}. Shisui's eyes was already set to activate on Itachi's eyes, and effect the person with Itachi's eyes (he told of his failed plan to use KA on Sasuke, because Sasuke transplanted Itachi's eyes) Itachi would have lost

1) I don't think Ameratasu would work on Nagato
2) Plenty of reason genjutsu would though
3) No proof of him being a sensor, a few very vague examples but none that fall into normal sensor abilities (and numerous examples of him clearly not being a sensor, like being unable to find Jiraiya without Konan. What he does seems much more like when a character feels the "killer intent" or some such, or the "pressure" of a chakra, which plenty of non-sensors have done). Not that it matters if he's a sensor.
4) All Itachi had to do to program a complex series of instructions into Sasuke's eye (implanting a booby trap) was to look at him. He'll just take out the crow, look at Shi Sui's eye and give it a new program, and have it look at Nagato. End fight.

Quit thinking that Itachi can take the gokage. He cannot. Quit making Itachi seem better than he is. At most he could take is 2 kage.
