Basically every time Naruto interacts with either Sakura or Hinata the fans of the respective pairings basically have a fit (of happiness or disappointment). There are a lot of pairings in the fandom...but hardly any in the canon. I just saw that thread of a whole lot of really random pairings, and sometimes the fanbase takes it to the extreme (when it's not even that important in the manga). So what are your feelings on this? Do you want any specific pairings to happen? Do you just not care?

Guys please don't have a fight over this also.

On an off chance that it does happen, i wont be. I cant say the same for all the NaruHina fangirls when NaruSaku happens tho, like it has been Foreshadowed the whole manga

I am normally a huge sucker for romance, but the fact that romance, sexual tension and desires are either totally unimportant, absent or portrayed in such an awful manner in this series sort of make pairing and shipping seem stupid. I appreciate some fans' attempts at trying to flesh out the interesting sandbox Kishimoto has created, but the problem is that I generally don't care about the vast majority of the characters in Naruto. Support characters have limited screen time and personalities for the most part, so why do I care who they hook up with?

If I were to say which pairing has the most promise, I'd say it's Shikamaru and Temari. They're fairly average people, coming from two different villages, and then it's the fact that their personalities sort of blend together nicely. Of course, they haven't been seen together since early Shippuden so...

I only care about the pairing if they have any importance to the overall story. But in the end, no matter how much fans discuss the pairing wars, that doesn't mean that they have the power to decide what the final pairing is going to be. This is Kishi's story, only he knows what the final pairing is going to be. So we should just leave it up to him.

But personally, I support Naruhina.
