They can both make a battlefield size forest from their respective materials, but other than that I don't see the resemblence.
Also there is no evidence to confirm that hashirama used senjutsu, while it does look likely, we can't make assumptions til we know for sure, it could easily be a more advanced form of the mark tsunade uses on her forehead.

the damp/dry bone forrest refers to the giant skeletons of oversized animals
lying around there I think. Not much to do with the kaguya clan.
And mokuton is just the combination of earth and water elements
not a kekkai genkai like the kaguya's bone manipulation.
