Nice review and apparently those markings on Hashirama indicate a new sage mode type. Maybe that was what Kabuto was talking about.

I liked this battle much more than the Juubi fight too and Hashirama VS Madara was also a much higher level battle compared to five kages VS Madara. Probably the best high level battle in the War Arc thus far. Can't wait to see more of it and also other characters like Mito, etc. Then hopefully we can see Tobirama, Hiruzen and Minato in their own respective flash backs.

Freaking awesome. But what does bug me, is that summoning, gojuu rashouman or whatever it is. Those three wall statues. Orochimaru used the same technique. I wonder how does this tie together.

And i am impressed by both of them but Hashi pulling that thing out impressed me more

And the Hashi statue is modeled after Avalokitesvara, a Buddhist Bodhisattva. It made me think he is a wood sage... considering the marking, and a summoning contract.
