Why is everyone underestimating the other Hokage?

simple question to answer, it's because they've not done anything yet, ppl doubted whether or not obito could still use Mokuton until he used it on Naruto. I remember ppl used to put Hashirama down because he had no feats, that all changed once Madarama demonstrated the real power of Mokuton though.

k well this tells me that if you were a shinobi, you would undoubtedly end up like madara obito "stupid sasuke"(after itachi dies but before he meets itachi again) or possibly nagato. if all you value is power your will miss the big picture and fail, as my boy itachi taught me. i mean everything has a weakness and in a fight you need to use your strength to exploit your opponents weakness, thats why a true martial artist is confident against any opponent, because any one can knock someone out but not everyone can see the knock out coming. when you become strong you will think there is no one who can touch you because you are the strongest, and in that scenario, guaranteed you will get touched.

Obito can take him out... S/T is an absolute defense against physical attacks and Hashi hasn't shown any sealing jutsu or genjutsu outside Bringer of darkness which is totally useless against someone who has sharingan

i dont rate obito compared to the top shinobi, kamui is not absolute, actually everyone of his opponents has landed a hit on him.(i made a whole long ass thread why i dont think obito is top class) Also just because hashi hasn't SHOWN anything yet, doesn't mean he doesn't have anything, and in a fight the element of surprise is pretty valuable.

and actually i think madara showed hashis flower world jutsu, which put the 5 kage to sleep, i think that would be effective if used properly.

Just because someone is powerful doesn't mean they're a dumbass. Hashi/Nagato/Naruto aren't dumb since they aren't "geniuses".

You forget that Edo Madara can pump an unlimited amount of chakra into his mokuton to make up for the stuff he lacks.

However, Kishimoto enjoys trolling not so much Minato, but Hiruzen. Trust me, I share the same birthday with the Sandaime, and this is coming from a person who is not a diehard fan.

Just look at my two points.

- Hiruzen defeats Hashirama and Tobirama fair and square the first time Orochimaru summons them back with Edo Tensei in Part I.
Chapters later, Kishimoto says that Hashirama and Tobirama were not at fully power.....which makes Hiruzen's victory over them laughable.

- Hiruzen is the only Kage that wasn't brought back in his youth. It's clear now that we'll never see him live up to his "prime" hype.

Case in point, it's only natural that the NB denizens here flock and cling to the evergrowing Tobirama and Hashirama fanbase because everyone knows that they (and perhaps Minato) would do damage in the aftermath of this war...not Hiruzen.

I think that the latest chapters perfectly show that Hashirama is not very bright, granted battle intelligence is different from normal intelligence. I still think it's pretty safe to say that Hiruzen is smarter.

What about Hashirama points that he's better at everything? the vague statement that Senju are masters at everything? We know for a fact that Hiruzen mastered all arts and that he knows countless jutsu's.

They aren't controlling it via Mokuton. Mokuton is making the binding that is letting them control the Juubi stronger. Its obvious only Senju/Uchiha hybrids can control the Juubi, just like its vessel, the Gedo Mazo. If you have any ideas of Hashirama being able to control it, I suggest you get rid of them.

See that wire that connected to their necks? THAT is what is letting them control the Juubi, not Mokuton. Mokuton makes that biding stronger. Controlling=/=Making the control stronger.
