Through plot and when he couldn't use Kage Bunshin. IMO RM Naruto is enough to beat Prime Nagato.

Naruto isn't stronger than nagato LOL just remember he was able to tank naruto AND bee with asura path, he effortlessly handled them it was only because itachi swung his susano hand to cut nagatos arm of as to why they arnt dead already. Naruto has no counter for a healthy nagato chibaku tensei as we've already witnessed in the manga, he can pretty much absorb most of narutos jutsu, bijudama is debatable.


On topic now, ems madara isn't weaker than P nagato

Madara= ems and rinnengan± more experience with the two
Nagato= young rinnengan

By RM Naruto I am guessing you mean Kyuubi mode Naruto. And KM Naruto can't beat Nagato, Naruto had Killer Bee helping him and would have gotten solo'd effortlessly if it wasn't for Itachi's intervention. Also BM Naruto wouldn't be enough as all his ninjutsu would be absorbed by the Preta Path and he has no counter for Chibaku Tensei and he can't stop the multiplying dog or counter the Soul Dragon. Anyway Prime Nagato can beat everyone listed apart from Rinnegan Obito.
