Theory: Kushina Indirectly Mentioned Rikudou Sennin As An Uzumaki Ancestor

this was theory i had but never proven. so so6p fits my theory now.


The Uzumaki clan was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They were the direct descendants of the Sage of Six Paths, along with their branch clan - the Senju, who used to belong to the same clan in the past.
The Uzumaki Clan was at first divided into two families - The Main Family and the Branch family. The Main branch consisted of pure blood Uzumaki clan members.Because of the rarity of activation of the male bloodline Rinnegan, the males mostly didn't activate it and thus its existence was uncertain.
The Branch family, jealous of the Main branch for possessing their bloodline
Later they came to be known as the Senju clan and established Konohagakure no Sato.
Even after their desertion, the Uzumaki tried to maintain a good relationship with their blood relatives. The now named Senju, in greed of acquiring more power didn't give in to their hate for the Uzumaki and thus accepted the alliance between Uzushiogakure and Konohagakure.

The Rinnegan is not a Kekkei Genkai shared by the members of the clan, the Rinnegan is a unique mutation power of Rikudou Sennin only, because he was the Juubi's Jinchuuriki and only, through direct descent from the Sage is a descendant able to acquire it through the combination of the two dominant genetic traits of his two sons (eyes and body) can a direct descendant of either Senju or Uchiha awaken the Rinnegan, reverse engineering like Madara did, so to speak.

Nice theory, ***** - I also believe The Sage of 6 paths was an Uzumaki. What's more impressive is how Sasuke, and Naruto, at very young ages, are the two strongest shinobi's, outside of Orochimaru, Tobi, Edo Madara, and Edo Hashirama! Its also fascinating that they happen to be best friends. Overall, the strongest families are: Senju, Uchia/Uzumaki,

fuinjutsu is a specialized type of ninjutsu which involves sealing, it still falls under the general umbrella definition of ninjutsu, Rikudou is Senju and Uchiha because he was the father, but the other relatives of Rikudou Sennin from his familial clan prior to his discovery of ninjutsu is where the present day Uzumakis derive their ancestry from, the uzumakis of the present day are therefore not directly related to the Sage through direct Uchiha and Senju ancestry, but from common ancestry with the Sage's other relatives whether thy be cousins, uncle or aunt of the Sage, etc

Fuinjutsu is not a branch of ninjutsu it is all by itself with branches under it. It is just like Taijutsu which is not branched from Ninjutsu. Fuinjutsu is of its own so it would definitely make sense since for Rikudo to use Fuinjutsu since there was no ninjutsu or understanding of chakra to use ninjutsu before the fight of the Juubi.

Well, they base it on Zetsus's statement in 606:

They interpreted "lineage" to mean descendant, meaning their interpretation is that the Uzumakis were descendants of the Senjus main family tree, however this is not true:

And I have already pointed out that having consulted a professional translator, the word Nagato used was 血縁 which is ketsuen or "blood relative" not 祖先 or sosen which means "descendant/lineage" Therefore the Uzumakis were blood-relatives of the Senjus (as Kushina stated) but not necessarily descendants or off-branch family of the main Senju line.

Yes that is but there are many different strengths and variations of Fuinjutsu. People have to remember that before Rikduo Sennin SEALED the Juubi there was no understanding of chakra and no ninjutsu whatsoever. So it is only logical that Fuinjtsu would be in its own category by itself and not one that it based off of chakra itself. There are many types of jutsus that has nothing to do with chakra like Taijutsu, Kinjutsu, or Bukijutsu. Some are based off of chakra but are not a ninjutsu whatsoever sort of like "Chakra Absorbing Technique".

Fuinjutsu should be one in its own category even if it doesn't necessarily have a branch for it but many variations for how it can be done. I guess it is nothing main like Genjutsu or Taijutsu since we haven't really seen what kind of Fuinjutsu the Uzamaki had at their disposal. Oh and the jutsu that you are referring to that Tsunade uses was actually a jutsu from Uzamaki Mito.

No one wants to feel like fools for believing in and or being fanboys of their favorite characters or clans but it was always inevitable that we would find out their true clan which is the Uzamaki Clan.

Excellent theory my good man. But was it shown anywhere whether the sage had red hair or not? If he is actually shown without the red hair, does that mean that he is not an Uzumaki?

Naruto does not have red hair.. That would cool too if the sage wife was from Minito's side.
