ahah true...still, you´d have to consider other stuff like the existence of TVs and such.

It´s an alternate world that doesn´t need to follow the rules as strictly.

In Part 1, Sakura mentions a bus. There are no vehicles. Kabuto uses various computers and test tubes and machines.

Cannons exist though. I know some were in that movie with the Temujin guy and the crystal of gelei or something. Still fun is different so yeah, it is a bit weird.

You have to remember that the world in which Naruto lived up to now is just the SHINOBI WORLD,which probably means that it's only a fraction of the whole world.The shinobi world,which include all the countires with great number in active shinobi and samurai,was probably isolated up until some decades ago,which explains the existence of electricity in such a world or other technologies,but you can still see sign of a much older style of life.Back in the era of the 2nd Mizukage,it wasn't as easy to see western technology,but the highers up probably had access to such things.The Mizukage probably witnessed a gun in action and did a mimicry technique with his Water Release affinity.

Just picture the nd Mizukage in the Meiji era in Japan.Parts of the country were modernized but alot of people lived the old way.On a sidenote,the world of peace that Naruto seems to make in the shinobi world is comparable to the full modernization and dmocratization of Japan during the Cold War.

He's more boring than anything up to now.He Hid himself behind a Genjutsu during the whole episode this week.He better kick some serious ass next week to redem himself for his poor performance(hop it's due to Edo Tensei control).
