Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I hear allot about the FF series and I hear Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is pretty good I was thinking of watching it but I am unsure. Do you have to play previous FF video games to understand the movie?

you dont have to but if you have played ff7 which the movie characters are from it makes it more epic


its is a good movie even if you havnt played it but personally i have played just about all of them

You should definitely play FF7 if you want a better understanding of what the movie is about and who the characters are.

I thought it was a decent movie (the Blu-Ray version is alot better), but I wasn't a fan of Denzel or the new antagonists.
Though the film does tie in with FF7 and Crisis Core quite nicely.

It makes the movie a whole lot more epic if you play the game. You will see the true sephiroth in the game not the one in the movie. You'll know what i mean when you play the game.

First, watch the complete version.

Second, they kind of summarized the entire series in beginning the movie.

You don't have to play the games, but there may be small parts that will make wonder.

The government declared the game and act of terrorism shortly after it came out. The very first mission your cloud and you have to place a bomb on a train. because of this the government didnt want its youth to get any ideas. So its hard to find a hard copy of the game but i do know that they are remaking the game
