Skyrim is Awesome!

i'm new to the Elder Scrolls series and rented skyrim from the redbox out of sheer boredom and now i'm addicted!!

the leveling system is awesome and the game is actually challenging unlike most games i play U_U and their is quite a few races to choose from which i find awesome as well :y the story is also quite interesting even coming into the series with the fifth installment

the best part is fighting dragons!! O.O iv'e never played a game that introduced dragons in an epic way

i have slayed 3 dragons as of now :scorps: (two fire, one ice)

i will defiantly be buying this game :T_T:

anyways, should i go back and play the other games or is it just irrelevant?

The game is awesome !! I play other games too but I always come back and gain an even bigger appreciation for skyrim..you should try oblivion I highly recommend you play that first

Im level 81 max stats with a 610000 damage bow. and 100000000000 health.

The amount of glitches in this games are too damn high!

P.S. For your Stormcloak/Imperial choice....I found that the Imperials seem to be rather logical. I don't remember entirely what they are standing for, but if I remember right it is to actually help Skyrim overall as well as defend its other kingdoms from the Elven Kingdom whose name I forget (composed of High Elves and Wood Elves). If you are anything other than one of the humanoid races (any elf, orc, Kajiit, or argonian) the Storm Cloaks are completely racist to you (I am always a Wood Elf, and found out the Hard Way)!

thanks for the info, i chose an imperial... wanted to keep it simply and stick to being a man for my first go. but i will defiantly play this game multiple times with multiple races

Lol I can never help, but be a Wood Elf XD Archery is my thing! That and Dual Swords! Keeping it simple with the Imperial or Nord would have probably been my alternates!

I guess one last info piece is that sadly Ice Spells aren't too efficient as everyone happens to have one form of Frost Resistance :'(...Unfortunate as the Ice Magic is one of my favorites! Especially when it comes to Dragon Shouts!
